Good morning everybody I have a quick question I apologize but I did not have anymore time to spend searching any longer in the posts for my exact answer , this is more than likely due to the fact that I'm still trying to figure out how to use this website and, well I have a lot to learn so be kind..
.in either case I apologize if this a bit redundant..with that said, I have done about three pulls with Naphtha and I have a rather decent sized layer or at the top of my jar with my mini a/b that absolutely refuses to be dissolved my my non-pol ish self I am also running rather low on..so what is the safest way to filter and wash this and make sure I don't have any residual lye in the finished product ?all answers in a much appreciated thank you

If you are using xylene with lye you can use Baking Powder, but only less than a TBSP. This should help clean it up dramatically, after that you can freeze precipitate it up through Heptane which should be available at your local hardware store for 100% purity at rating (99.9% by oxidase).

Really does baking powder do something but I'm not aware of cuz last I checked I didn't know that xylene whatever freeze precipitate hence the back salting I look forward to your reply cuz I'm quite interested
