Its 2:40 am and I cant sleep, too much on my mind.

I've decided I want to stop smoking and eat healthy.

Also get my diploma and get a job in the industry.

And lastly save for a ayahuasca retreat. Go to the very source of the knowledge

Any tips on achieving goals?

YOU can be your worst enemy. You're the only thing standing in your way of these goals. Believe that you can do them, sincerely believe, and they will come to fruition.

Strange - I was also kept up all night wondering "What next?" and coming to lots of conclusions. I planned to go to the Amazon after I get my degree :). Lets stick to it man.

it always seems that people strive for a sense of purpose in life, i guess it's what keeps them going. they allow the pursuit to define who they are. in the hedonistic vein, I say, do whatever feels right, whatever you have a passion for..as long as it doesn't consume you in a way that harms you or others close to you; and always, learn from it.

feeling the need to be a productive member of society is basically spinning your wheels; unless that's what drives you (living for other people), avoid this mentality. it may leave you miserable. some people devote their lives for this purpose, good for them; they chose that path.
don't try to compare your path to theirs, it's moot and irrelevant.

Best thing I have read here all morning... and incredibly true!

Sharing was banned because of me in elementary school. Kids would always ask for some of my snack, I would give it all away, realize there was nothing left for me, and then cry. :p

If you don't take care of yourself... there is nothing left to give. It isn't selfish. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to receive... and accept nourishment. Aya helped me with that. :)

Good luck!

Interesting, I know someone who thinks that drugs are illegal because it makes us not care about the rat race. It messes up the system

I'm thinking on the other hand a path is just a path, you can choose whichever one to go down but in the end its just a path. Its no better or worse, im waffling now
