Adding extra water to TEK to allow for easier pulling of naphtha

I am sure this has been asked before but I have been unable to locate an answer so sorry for asking again. I have a couple successful extractions but it would much easier if I could add more water after the extraction stage to raise the water level into the neck of my flask, but I am afraid the added water could cause issues. Does anyone know if it would be ok to add extra water, I have been using Cyb's Hybrid TEK my idea was to add more salt solution to bring the total volume up to about 900ml rather then 750ml. This would make the naphtha layer end up in the neck of my flask so it would be a lot easier to pull it off. Thank you for your time and I appreciate any information have a wonderful day.

I don't use cyb's tek but this should not be an issue, it's common practice especially on the the last pull. 150ml shouldn't throw out the ph enough to cause any issues.

Just add the water, it'll be fine as long as you have enough room for mixing the next portion of naphtha afterwards.

Use distilled water if your domestic water source is exceptionally hard.

Thank you, I will use distilled water. I can even raise the PH before I add it if you think that would be necessary.

I had really thought about it I could just do this on the last pull. I read your response again and it just made sense then. Just pull the first couple best I can then add the extra to raise the level and pull the final naphtha layer off again thank you so much.
