Aluminum foil smoking

Hello, I have been informed on other forums and through other unreliable sources that smoking aluminum foil is bad for your health. However, this doesn't make sense to me. Aluminum foil is made out of nearly purely aluminum, and the sublimation point of aluminum is too high to cause dangerous fumes (with a bic lighter). Could someone direct me to a reliable source that says smoking aluminum foil is or is not bad for my health, or explain it? Thank you.

really? i guess i'll try it. how do you prepare the foil? make a tube or a bubble or what? thanks. man if it were acceptable i would record myself smoking out of a neth pipe just to prove it's a perfectly good method.

take a piece i=of foil 3 by 3 inches put your dmt on one side then use a lighter to heat underneath ans slide the dmt downwards and inhale from a BIC pen you took apart.

milk jugs lye and naphtha? dont sown to good. also altho this is the best method i have found (i have had many DMT pipes i dont like calling them meth pipes) i still think that foil cannot be good for your health especiallt when smoking certain things that cause the foil to melt if you dont slide right for example meth. but dmt melts and slides wonderfully on foil as long as you do it right im not proud of it but believe me if you ever need an expert on sliding things im your guy lol

hmmm, I'm not sure I follow from your description. Do you have a picture?

I can't believe such a method could possibly work better than a meth pipe. You can't see the spice vaping so you don't know what you're doing, if it's vaping fast or slow. Isn't it easy to burn it in aluminum?

I imagine it would work, but be more difficult to control than a meth pipe.
You want something that isn`t the best conductor of heat (not something terrible though),
That way you can control the temperature easily with the flame.
If something is too great of a conductor, then once you heat it to a high temperature, it will stay that way, so if you go overboard...you end up screwing yourself imo.

Anyone think this will work safety-wise (burning it, inhalation &c); I'm using the Al foil to keep any DMT from falling out of the bottom of my mesh when I load it and when I"m placing it into my machine. I mean I suppose I could just remove it before I start applying heat, but I feel like fiddling with the mesh would knock some DMT loose.

Please note I am using a torch lighter which does get considerably hotter than a standard Bic, for example.
Thoughts, opinions?

Torch lighters can make quite a mess of aluminium foil. I am not very familiar with the machine but why dont you try to gently pre heat the mesh. It doesnt have to be too hot. Sprinkle the DMT on and, as it has a low melting point, the DMT will bind with the mesh, thereby making everything more managable.
