Amanita muscaria vs Pantherina

Hey guys.
Are the effects of amanita muscaria and amanita pantherina the same, save for the differences in potency?

Also, what advantage a are there to using muscaria over pantherina if the later is more potent.

How do these two do with MAOI? Is there synergy you guys know of?

I can only comment on the maoi portion of your question. I did a quick search and could not come up with any definitive information regarding safety combining maoi and amanitas. There is nothing in the nexus wiki about it at all.

Would be interested to know if maoi can make muscimol dangerous or not as it is toxic akaik. I did read that amanita increases the potency of ayahuasca greatly but I do not know if this is fact or not.

Typically, pantherina is regarded as being much higher in potency, but effects are the same.

Ive only found one Amanita ameripantherina(american version, A. pantherina is actually referring to the European species) and I did not consume it, but I believe my friend did.

I've found Tons of A. muscaria var persicina. I really like eating them fresh, sauté in butter, garlic, and herbs! So tasty

If that's the case that would be great since it would mean it's safe with MAOI. Now whether it's potentiating interaction is with the MAOI or the DMT, we still don't know.

If it was with the MAOI, that would be cool since it would mean ayahuasca, psilohuasca, and MAOI alone even would synergize well with Amanita.

If it was with the DMT, that too would be cool because it means ayahuasca, psilohuasca, vaped DMT, and mushrooms alone would synergize well with Amanita.

How exactly does that mean it's safe? I read a report from a member who also cautioned that maoi could make muscimol toxic at lower levels. There experience is not definitive of anything.

I think everyone should exercise caution here as we do not know if this is safe or not.

the only experience i had with muscaria and MAOI was smoking changa during an amanita experience.

probably not enough MAOI to induce any kind of contraindication (Should concern for such a thing truly exist), but i found the experience most enjoyable.

didn't seem to potentiate the amanitas, but it was hard to tell because i was smoking freaking changa :d
