An ayahuasca newb anxious for enlightenment

Sorry I was just incredibly anxious to finally be apart of a tight knit community. Haha and yes I will do whatever it takes to gain membership status. I planned on doing the procedure in the next week. I wanted to encapsulate the rue separately while encapsulating the acacia also. I was just wondering how much of each I should use. I'd prefer a tbsp dosage since I'm without a scale at the moment. Also I haven't found much information on this method of administration. So would ginger root pills be necessary? If this method fails, I can always try the THP tek.

And the encapsulating method I'm attempting involves no brewing at all. Just grinding both the rue and acacia down to a powder, and encapsulating them separately. Thought I'd take a capsule of rue and a 500mg ginger root 30 mins beforehand. Then take a capsule of acacia along with a vitamin c pill and maybe another ginger root if needed. If you think this could work, what would be a proper dose for the rue and acacia?

Hello ladies and gents. I had posted this in the entrance essay section(probably a typical seedling mistake) and was instructed that it'd receive more productive responses here. Any thoughts on my plans for what is described above?

Like I said, I think you should go for making the teas out of them and reducing them to smaller shots. Drink the rue tea, wait a half an hour, then drink the acacia tea.

That is just what I would do. But there are many different ways to do it. I'm not positive if just taking it by itself would work well. I've heard that 5 grams of rue just eaten feels like 2 grams in tea.

So, have you looked up any info on if this method works?

Okay. Ill do what you said. How many tbsp of acacia and rue should I use. And also how much water? Is it best to simmer or boil? I get kind of confused when you guys say put together the 3 strained pulls and boil down to a shot? Wouldn't you be losing the goodies by sizing the tea down?

I recently stumbled upon this. What do you think?

13 grams of acacia confusa root bark (not tree bark - root bark MUCH stronger)
6 gram syrian rue
500 mg vitamin C
grind together very well
put 1 1/2 quarts of water in a 2 quart pot.simmer (do NOT boil) for 6 hoursstrain off and save liquid
add another 1 1/2 quarts of water
simmer for 6 hours
strain off - save liquid
clean pot of the powdered remains
add both liquids back into the pot
simmer for 6 hours
should leave you about 250 mlof a very clean smooth POWERFUL ayahuasca analogue
25 - 30 ml - nice micro dose - one can fully function with increased awareness, quiet meditation opens one up to the dmt experience, can be done for days, weeks on end - just watch out forthe dmt build up which seems to be cumulative; and watch out for the maoi and certain food interaction (particulary red wine)
100 ml - nice full dmt journey (approx peak = 3 hours)

Sounds right to me. I've heard both sides (people taking rue before dmt, or both at the same time) so I think it'll work. I have not actually done this yet so I'm not 100% positive. I know that it being brewed will make it better though. Test it out and give it a go. I'm sure it'll work.
