An opinion needed regarding solvent

SWIM got this bottle of paint thinner, whose label states that it's content is: "a homogeneous mixture of alifatic hydrocarbons". Please give SWIM your opinions. Could this be used for extraction ? Would it qualify as naphtha ? Thank you.

Well would it not be easier to just obtain pure naphtha or ronsonol lighter fluid! & not risk using a solvent which will not extract the dmt to the best ability!

Swim's first several extractions with ronsonol lighter fluid went brilliant!

(though saying this last two extraction turned into ''emulsions'' this was because i shook my solution way to hard! If this does become a problem for you in your quest for dimitri, acolon_5 found that adding extra naphtha to the solution and gently swirling/rolling the mixture seems to clear the problem up very nicely, so far working for swim a treat)

did you run a search for a specific msds or more information on the specific brand you have? see if google helps you to know more in detail what it contains

it could work, yeah, naphtha would be basically aliphatic hydrocarbons too .. but since its kinda vague description keep looking for other solvents in your area, and research every brand on the internet.. dont rush it! And then the one you do decide for, do an evap test before see if it leaves residue...
