Psychedelics do help but SWIM has to be careful SWIM is prone to coming up with vast conspiracies about the world and whats going on that can make SWIM really really paranoid which happens more when SWIM is stressed. ---> Dude I really recommend yoga. It has so many bonuses, fitness, flexibility, calmness. Once you start getting into it you feel a definite sense of achievement and self-advancement. Even in your first session when you get a bit warmed up you feel so much better, and afterwards you've definitely got energy.

I recommend Ashtanga.

---> About paranoia, this is something I'm very interested in as a concept. I don't really suffer from any paranoia and I like to hear the perspectives of ppl who do.

One answer to paranoia is thinking about what is likely to be true, rather than what could be true. The second part to that is to nip it in the bud. Once you give any freedom to it then the possibility it could be true grows in your head and it nags at you that the paranoia might be justified. If you nip it in the bud and ignore it immediately then it doesn't fester.

Also SWIM has been in quite a bit of chronic physical pain lately which I am trying to deal with but it certainly adds to stress.



What helped me was just prayer and meditation. I prayed for direction and for help to deal with myself and asked for my anger and fears to be taken away.
Then I asked instead to be given opportunity to give something back. To help others dealing with themselves. I always try to do my best in life. To be of use for society and those who need help.

hey man, at least you have the sence to see through that thick layer of crap most of society is still stuck up on..I get like this as well. I have days where I really want to pack everything up and move off into exile cus I cant stand how dulled down and stupid our society makes us think life really is..this feeling doesnt go away though, not for me at least. The stupidity of the general mass is still there(of which I realise I am a part of), I just try to accept my place in it and slowly work towards my ideals doing what I can. Still though, there are those days I really feel like screaming..
 
A great adaptogen is ashwaganda which will help lower your stress levels intern lowering your anger reflexes. Breathing exercises also work really well. I personally meditate to help control any negative feelings of any kind. Yoga is also another excellent anger and stress reliever :)

SWIM used to be very prone to anxiety. Nowadays its controllable so not a problem. But parania can completely take SWIM over during psychedelic trips. It doesn't always happen but when it does it can be really scary. SWIM can envision the most evil circumstances possible. The scary part is even in SWIM sober mind he sees how it can be true.

Basically SWIMs most recent paranoid fantasy is that there is a global elite running the world, although there are lots of people who think this but on drugs SWIM can connect all the dots and it all makes so much damn sense......:shock:

Anyway SWIM has also went totally insane thinking his roomate was smoking crack (he wasn't at all) thinking the cops are after him (they weren't) among other things. Paranoia sucks and has caused SWIM to stop using psychedelics before but SWIM always goes back :d Its all in good fun.


Yea yoga sounds like a good idea it would help with my all aches and pains I get also. Stretching helps but I really need someone who knows what they are doing so I don't hurt myself hehe.
