anne halonium / violet teks 101/ albino

Migrated topic.
rural/ urban
there should be teks for all occasions.
something for everyone globally.

rice, plastic, common ferts, water and PC.
simple air flow, simple FC , simple lights.

im sure there is more to be seen with these type of grows.
as the supply and utility has its charms..............

This isn't something I've mentioned before anywhere, but I'm not even an urban grower. I'm far more on the rural side.
This tek is definitely preferable for urban growing for a number of reasons, but I see little to no reason that other teks might somehow have a similar (but opposite?) advantage in a rural area.
I am quite rural. This tek is still most appealing to me by far, for a laundry list of reasons that I love to rattle off but will spare you all of.

id like to rise above the rural, suburban, urban templates.
no one grow tek is all terrain for all supplies/ conditions that are possible.

i would suggest the highest form is to be able to grow all types of fungi,
using best grow engineering in an adaptable way.

know the fungus, know the materials, know the basic science.............
^
and be prepared to adapt.

ive grown many places, many climates , rural/ urban /suburban.
of course they are all different.
naturally the style varies with the terrain.

i suggest the basics , of plastic cups, grains, ferts and LED lighting,
can serve all in some aspects of the grow.

many here have traveled.
many here have found themselves in new environments.
the ideal is to have capability everywhere.
i always offer,
master all ways of growing all conditions, and youll be pleased.

first off I would like to think Anne & violet for there awsome knowledge.
this technique as worked awesome for me i am going to re do this V-tek with ferts
unfortunately my most recent cultivation i did not have a camera do to my crazy ex girlfriend smashing it so I plan on redoing this posting pictures of my results along with a step-by-step pictorial thanks!!

columbian redspore, v-tek style.............

Funny. I thought we had a rule against posting pornographic material on the Nexus.

Somebody should address this egregious lack of decorum. Honestly... Where do people get off posting stuff like this?

:p

peeps often ask about the "prep of sub" part.
its striaght, boil seed in 10-10-10 water,
strain and go.
scoop loose , and dont over do it.
it will settle when run thru PC.

we fished this pic below out of annie archives.

note, the scrubs in the bottom, prevent mushing of fert WBR.
this allows a faster and cleaner grow thru pon the bottom of contianetr,
and aids in bottom watering.

Hey Anne, I'm thinking about doing a v-tek next time around and have a few different PC strains to play around with, v-tek is new to me and I was wondering out of GT, Brazilian, Cambodian, which is more forgiving of noob mistakes?

are you sterilizing your casing? Is there a particular type of potting soil you use? How much casing do you use?

we use about any common potting soil we can find.

we boil the soil 2 x, with a space of 24 hours, then cool.
casing is then crumbled on to 1/2 inch or so....

containers are re capped with loose lids till it mycelia goes thru casing.

For those of us noobs at home hopelessly googling the acronyms in this thread, here's a little summary :)

WBR - whole brown rice
BRF - bois raméal fragmenté" or "chipped branch-wood"
RGS - rye grain seeds
PC - psilocybe cubensis
MC - mycelium (little white clouds that form before the fruit)
Verme - vermiculite
Perle -perlite

^^^^ was just about to post something regarding all the acronyms - its like reading a text from my kids sometimes :) . We don't all speak Shroomtek

What about the rest of them (for the uninitiated) i.e PC, FC, MS, DEC, verm, perle etc etc.

P.S I thought BRF was brown rice flour. :surprised

terms used are pretty much standard from forums.
i sorta assume most here are at least partially trained in shroomspeak.
keep in mind i was originally a topian for a long time.

ironically i have to translate all this myself.
for security reasons, all my lab rats are trained to an entirely different set of terms.
( that way we can talk and not be understood if eavesdropped)

gimme a day or so and ill post an "annie lexicon."

there is more to come on this thread.
just been dealing with club lately...........

in the meantime, the pictures show it pretty straight.
i dont make it all complex like other teks on other forums.
annie is about direct no BS simplicity!
dont over think it.
zero points for style doing it, all points for the dry crop/ yield!

Very impressive... shrooms are too expensive for how fast I go through them... hoping to start growing my own at some point...
