Publication Anti-inflammatory effects of psychedelics

It’s helpful to be able to at least accept the reality of your situation to some degree. If you just choose to not believe what your being told and fight against it that can also be stressful and makes things worse.

Every doctor( naturopaths and functional med Dr’s included) has told me they don’t know how to cure me. There is no cure they can just give to me. What’s the point of telling people otherwise if that’s what they know? I have a damn good functional medicine Dr who has the same disease in remission…but it always comes back and she has been pretty honest about that that. All she can do is help me put it back into “remission”, but it’s always there like a match waiting to light a bonfire.

My rheumatologist thought she’s a witch doctor, but began taking her more seriously as I improved way beyond all her other patients living on injections of antibodies. All they could offer me was a lifetime on injections that suppress my immune system. I’d have to worry forever about cancer, developing MS etc due to the injections.

I get where you are coming from Traged because I have gone my own way in relation to the plans my rheumatologist had for me. I still value her opinion tho and remain her patient because she can monitor what’s going on etc and share that with my other Dr. Neither of them lied to me. A lot of diseases we don’t have cures for but they don’t necessarily limit your lifespan either. Some auto immune diseases can cause irreparable damage due to the inflammation however if you do not accept treatment while disease activity is high.

That’s good way to just suffer and die as well.
Well that is most of western medicine selling pill for a symptom, often causing another symptom...

I have seen so many people taking blood pressure medication, while their doctor never even tried to solve reason their BP is high... Many people would not have to take insulin if they would have different diet... and that is just the tip of the iceberg.

I guess if venom would be tasty, pharma would sell shit ton of antidote...

I am of course not talking about not accepting reality. My first big issue is many people will take doctors as gods, and that they are clearly not... Thankfully this is not your case.

You get in remission, and it comes back. Maybe there would be case to look for "primordial domino piece", the one that brings it back?

What do you think?

That's what I implied in my reply about Amazonian healers, and @Jamie01 added that it's much more than that, involving a more holistic approach to healing with many methods.

Sure, your belief in a positive result plays a big role, but it goes beyond that. I feel even a total unbeliever could receive healing within the Amazonian system. Ayahuasca is just one of thousands of plants they use, and it's primarily for diagnosis. They shift energy with tobacco and heal with certain plants we've never heard about.
Well maybe "placebo" is not the right word for what I meant, but it is really close... Beliefs, beliefs in efficacy, beliefs in institution (doctor or curandero), doctors beliefs, everything plays a role.

Today I kind of believe in "primordial cause" sometimes "primordial causes". The beginning of the problem.

You get fat, because you eat too much. But your problem is with your control, or maybe you wanna feel safer so you need to be bigger, to feel less scared. So your problem with food comes from something else.

I have issues with my eyes. That are result of multiple factors. Allergies that should be result of some childhood trauma. The "red" eyes, that I believe, did not want to look at this world... Conjunctivitis that was probably result partially of my lifestyle - that I had to cope with things. And when your eyes are itchy you scratch them... that is all the things that carry risk for keratoconus. Which now I have. My corneas are irregular now. That is the reason of multiple things. And in each of them we could go down and get to a reason it became a thing. (my eye itches now, when I write about this :ROFLMAO: )

Many things when looked deeply enough into. Can be solved, when you find the thing that is grinding you down, the piece that causes imbalance in the system and you solve it. Body, mind, and you will adjust.

Most of them fully lose faith at that point and remain completely open to life. If they encounter a real healer in that state, a genuine revival becomes a possibility. Life's more mysterious than we think 🧙‍♂️🙏
Beautifully written <3

They let go of everything. Even their root cause. And make their healing possible.

Same here. My mom was put on BP medication the day after a varicose veins treatment. They said that it was in no way related and that she simply has a weak heart 😲

When I saw that pill package with its marketing literature and a special necklace, I googled the medication right away. Thankfully, she never took even one pill and lives just fine without them. I recommended a vitamin complex to her to help with heart function, and it is 10 times cheaper and works well for her.

Sadly, that's how we were all brought up. We're told to recognize authority, and almost none of us ever question it.
Covid set me free, and I am forever grateful for it, even if the price was a bit too much.

So, you believe in cause and effect 😂

That's quite obvious, and it's how real medical diagnostics should be performed. We all suffer from extreme specialization everywhere. People have forgotten how to see the whole picture and what that's good for. I feel it's just the nature of our times: a techno race and separation. Sure, there are still real healers around, even within the Western medical system. Finding them has become a real quest that many never finish. We're left with educating ourselves and being our own healers. I have no answers, but don't write off the medical institution. Even with all its problems, it serves an important role in society.
