Anyone know a source for this book, either hard copy or PDF:

"The Peyote Dance" by Antonin Artaud

Original french version:

"D’un voyage au pays des Tarahumaras"?

I have been searching for it for quite some time. It is out of print and the only copies available are very expensive and/or sold by companies that won't ship to Canada...

Anyone who has a PDF or knows where to download one, post either here - it would be great if everyone had access to this book. I hear it is an amazing and insightful read about Artaud's kicking heroin and ending up with the Tarahumaras, living with them and participating in their peyote ceremonies. Who wouldn't want to read that?

(french version is fine for me also)

Yes, that first one is it, but isn't that someone selling it on their own? I'd need to contact her then get her payment how? Credit card info? Anyway, no time now, but I'll look into it. I am wary of transactions like this, but it might be just misplaced mistrust...

I was hoping for a pdf ideally, not because I on't want to buy it but rather because it is out of print and hard to find. I am sure many here would love to read it!

I'll keep searching and if I find a PDF version in english I'll post it here.
