if so, is there a boarding forum I can go to ? I'd like to design my own board and have it made :)
just out of interest really. theres supposedly 7 million into the sport..

yes been snowboarding half my life..there are lots of companies that allow you to custom order boards..i dunno which ones off the bat but they are out there.

Fantastic. Smoking DMT and being an awesome snowboarder are not mutually exclusive then! :D

Ohh how I love snowboarding :)
Haven't done it for some years now thou :(
I just need to buy new gear and it's EXPENSIVE!! :(

But some day..... :)

I know! its like flying... just nothing but the light grind of crispness of the snow under your board, just you and your board, naked before the mountains. :D

If you people like snowboarding..you NEED to learn to surf..im linked to the ocean for life..ive been skatboarding and snowboarding for 13-14 years..used to snowboard every single day after work when I had season passes..I started to surf and then skimboard about 9 years ago and since then I have been 100% hooked..I try to hit the beach once a day.

Heliboarding is something I have wanted to do for a long long time..when I have the money I will..and I live in the right place for that as well..whistler is just a day trip for me..

I can totally tell that im gonna get into surfing. but uh, living in scotland is not so good, its totally baltic here, and its the north sea (which is basically the north atlantic) so you totally don't want to go for a dip anytime soon.

There isn't much I love more than being isolated in back country, waist deep in powder and pausing to puff a solid bowl of chronic. Then gliding into the trees... ahh....one of the best feelings ever.

backcountry is where its at..I used to get baked and hike the same peak all day...I like to ride park as well though when the snows not so good..

I used to love jumping cliffs, until I speed checked on the way into it once and fell off the cliff..that put me out for a good season and a wearyness of rock faces and made me reevaluate my percieved death wish..

Probly do it again all the same:d

This is how I roll on a daily basis these days..snowboarding is more a here and there weekend thing these days.

I went snowboarding for the 1st time last year in december when we had all that wintery goodness. I only went to hook up with one of my mates to get some greenery and ended up flying down the sides of hills on devices strapped to my feet lol. It was the bestist fun in a million years :)
One of the dudes the came along brought loads of laminate flooring too, so we ended up having mad races to the bottom... the flooring was surprizingly good for snowboarding btw.

Defo going to get into it more often, Its like being a kid again ;) I also want to get a big kite and an off road type board and hit the windy fields.

another Scot... seems to be quite a few of us on the nexus for such a small country. I wonder why that is?

I doubt I'd have the minerals to go surfing anywhere in Scotland, it is pure heavy baltic here ;)

peace!

Glenshee is great for snowboarding though :D nicely groomed alpine slopes, or some steeper hills if you wanna take it higher
