found this on an acacia tree and thinking about an extraction from it , any thoughts ?

which species of acacia is this ? an australian friend of mine told me there is a species of acacia out of which you can straight smoke the gum without any need for extraction , he was not ready to tell me exactly which species and i don't live in australia so can't say for sure ? however the orangish goo on one part of you acacia looks exactly like smokable spice if it is not a dried orange flower or a bud

be cautious as i know some acacia's contain toxic alkaloids. don't know too many specifics, just to be cautious. do much research before proceeding.

... which doesn't mean it's smokeable spice. Jin has a habit of forgetting that this is a publicly accessible forum and that suggesting things like smoking acacia gum is maybe not wise given that he doesn't know what the effects of that on the human body might be.

Some species of acacia have DMT in them. Once you've identified the species you have access to, you need to find out what part of the plant contains it; and figure out the extraction from there.

I personally would not smoke the gum straight off the tree.
