Anyone here experienced a "shared hallucination" on DMT?

I understand that "hallucination" is probably not the right term for this, as many (including me) full well believe that their experiences and contacts while on DMT are at least as real as what we experience here on Earth every day. But this is the common name for this experience (it seems to occur on LSD for a lot of people).

I also understand that many people do not blast off at the exact same time with their friends so one can catch the pipe/bong and make sure everything in the immediate environment is alright.

But folks try all sorts of things, so I am wondering if anyone here has "bumped into" one of their friends (or someone they know) while on DMT? Essentially, have you had contact in hyperspace with an entity/soul/spirit/consciousness/person you have met before?

i had one experience, where i met, and talked to, a lot of people i know personally. but they never talked to me about it in "the real world". they don't do dmt as far as i know :lol:

consciousness is what connects all of us, so why should there be a "me" and "you" anyway? I think the "me" is just a very tricky illusion

I did meet two entities (on separate occasions) I strongly felt I knew/recognized from somewhere, but not real life (that I know of). Its a strange feeling, that typical sense of recognition, but one that seems impossible at first glance.

But I have also wondered if meeting up in DMT space would be possible, basically the same group experiment that lucid dreamers/astral travelers do (see astralpulse if im not mistaken). If would be difficult I guess, as the experience is highly personal and rather takes you for a ride than the other way around.

There's a great trip report of folks "switching bodies" while in "shared hyperspace".

Two people: each one "awakens" to be looking at his or herself from inside the head of the other.

Then they switch back when the trip fades.

I can't link to it bc i wouldn't know how to search it but... bugged out eh?

And yeah, it happened to both of them simultaneously without premeditation or discussion.

Now what if one of the participants got up from the couch and left the room and kept going? Who would they have been/become?

I know, this is an idea that I commonly embrace. But since so many people report sharing hallucinations, I thought on DMT it might be possible. Our separate selves might be able to converge in hyperspace.

I also just did a search and found theories on synchronized hallucinations - LSD, LSA, LSH - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus where SnozzleBerry reports having a synchronized hallucination on DMT/changa joints. But my interpretation of those journeys is that simply being in the same place with those other people led to sharing that space, which could be a result of microexpressions, thoughts "in the air", etc.

I am more curious about a long-distance meet up. I suppose it would be much harder to coordinate, and it might end up just being a coincidence.

There are reports about shared trips with many psychedelics. DMT is one of them. Two of non-connected people can visit the same place. (Non-connected, I mean they never met each other in real life).

And I find that very interesting.

I believe that I can speak to this...at least superficially. I and my friends used to really be big into dex (CCC's or Robitussin DM). We would cater our doses to our own natural body resistances and maintain control of the experience. Now...understand that dex is most definitely not DMT. And I don't do that anymore because you feel like trash afterwards in many ways (and you also encounter some health problems if you make it a habit).

While under its effects, the synchronization effects occurred in many instances. For example. I dated a girl who tripped with me...and one night it occurred. She was in the living room for a while, then came back to the bedroom. Well, 20 minutes later I wandered into the living room and laid down. I was suddenly in a strange experience where I and her were 7 or 8 years older, married, and looking after toddlers. Of course, I rushed back into the bedroom to tell her about it. Her face turned pale, and she told me that that's exactly what she just saw when she was in the living room. Now I know what you must be thinking. "She might have been lying or otherwise under the effect of placebo." I embraced this as a possibility when it first started occurring. But with my friend Jeremy, we would begin describing an experience. I would say a sentence, he would say a sentence, I would say a sentence, etc. It matched up completely, and on several occasions. This brought me to an interesting thought pattern...and one that I'm still investigating.

What if we are constantly "encoding" our experiences on the walls...in the air...etc. Think of it as putting emotional packets of energy into matter and leaving them there for the review of others when they are in a proper state of mind to review it. This requires a completely open mindframe...one that is not plagued by a particular experience and open to receiving a "transmission" if you will.

I leave you with this thought, because it's a good one, and worth consideration. One time at work (it was around 4:00) I slipped into a daydream where I was a father waiting in a waiting room for my then crush at the time (she was my wife in the experience) to give birth. It was incredibly vivid, and very specific. I thought this strange, but didn't give it a second thought, as I am consistently experiencing things of this nature anyway. Well, I was walking out the door and saying goodbye to the front receptionist, who works about 20 feet from my desk. I told him I'd see him tomorrow, but then what he said shocked me beyond belief. "Oh, I won't be here tomorrow. My fiancée is giving birth tonight so I'll be busy with that tomorrow." I wished him well and walked out the door. And I wondered...did I pick up some of his vibes? I guess I'll never truly know. But maybe one day the social maturity of our scientists will rise to level of investigating this phenomenon. Maybe. You can always be hopeful.

Thanks for sharing; that is quite the tale. I see what you mean about the vibes; they could be mental "in the air" or resulting from similar physical conditions and circumstances. Or maybe it's a mix of both. But like you say I think that these types of phenomena are not outside of a scientific realm (one could probably show them to be falsifiable and simply coincidences), however these matters do merit a lot of investigation.

We will see what the future holds. For now we can theorize!

Lol I forgot I had a profound one.

I was walking on the beach tripping on LSD 20 years ago with 2 friends. I was peaking pretty good and somewhat speechless, not really in the frame of mind to be making words into sentences. A girl and I sat down and I looked up and started "making shapes out of the clouds" you know the deal.

I looked at a big fat cloud directly center in my field of view. The cloud made an O and opened up in the middle. (I've NEVER seen a cloud do even that.) I kept watching, and it became like a window of sorts, the bottom of the cloud was some kind of floor and the Greek Gods and goddesses appeared, standing up and peering over the side. Then Zeus stands up very abruptly. reaches up with one arm and really definitively his arm swoops down and points at me!

I was floored and didn't say a thing.

We got up shortly after, I was trembling and baffled by the strength and clarity of the hallucination and this girl turns and looks at me while we are walking and says:

"REMEMBER WHEN ZEUS GOT UP AND POINTED STRAIGHT AT YOU?!?!?"

Why did she say that? Why "me" and not "us"? Well I was all lit up with goosebumps and ecstatic for a long time after. How could she have seen? I AM ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE NO WORDS WERE SPOKEN because I was like, "how did you know I saw that?" and she said "I saw it." Like it was no big thing.

Formerly considered impossible. Something larger was at work here.

I know now that we are all connected, and how, but the resulting feeling from [that itself and] experiences like these still leaves me feeling ecstatic.

These days I usually have goosebumps all over my head all day

Or maybe it's a mix of both. But like you say I think that these types of phenomena are not outside of a scientific realm (one could probably show them to be falsifiable and simply coincidences), however these matters do merit a lot of investigation.

Since we are theorizing, perhaps shared realities in terms of altered consciousness result when the frequency of our conscious vibrations places us on the same "string" that creates dimensional reality.

You know, that M-theory stuff and all the Einstein and Hawking junk.

But who knows, from where we are standing, from the standpoint of science who could ever really know?

Maybe someday we will find out but I doubt we will use the physical world to understand it.

I've never experienced shared hallucinations on smoked DMT, but in ayahuasca ceremonies, moments of collective consciousness and shared visions (relating to the given icaros, etc) seemed to be commonplace.
