I've read reports in the past that its either inactive or VERY weakly active however these were in relation to smoking it... does anyone have any reports on oral dose with maoi? I'll get around to just testing myself but any reports would be help.
No personal experience with straight DMT N-oxide but I usually take whatever DMT N-oxide that I have left after re-xing batches and throw it into changa batches. Usually mixed with purified freebase so it's hard to say but I can definitely notice a kick to my changa that smoking harmalas+freebase just can't achieve on its own.

Indeed, @Brennendes Wasser found that it decomposed without really vaporising. With the oral route, it quite plausibly might get reduced back to the amine either in vivo or during brewing, but this is yet another area ripe with possibilities for establishing some more definite data.

That "N-oxide" from the re-x residue is more than likely oligomeric DMT, unless you're very specifically extracting from plants known to contain significant amounts of the oxide.
