y'all do have a secret forum (kinda should have one) and y'all had been making up threads for us and they were meant to be shown to us in this manner. thing is, there really was a glitch and some of y'alls "secret" threads ended up showing, too. so i thought that some were real and some were fake.

Firstly kudos on the good joke! I laughed my ass off!
It was a bit scary 'till I realized the date.
I know a couple of guys who recently woke up with laser sites on their chests because they just got busted. They are going away for quite a bit longer than 54 months.
I have always operated with maximum security. My friends call me paranoid -- always hiding the glass before I leave the house. I think of myself as an optimizer; if I can be more secure, I will do so.
This has been a wakeup call. I will now be browsing the nexus behind a tor onion router.
I do trust The Traveler's good security measures but WHAT IF?

I wondered a little over a week ago whether the nexus would pull an april fools gag (oddly enough, this exact scenario is what I was imagining), but figured we tend to take ourselves a little too seriously for that on this forum... so when I saw the Elite dawgs forum appear, I grinned from ear to ear. When I browsed the topics and mouse-over previews of the posts, I could not stop laughing. It really made my day.

I think I'd prefer not to evolve beyond the ability to take a step back and be a little goofy from time to time. Levity, like many things, is good in moderation

For anyone who has been locked up (well maybe not every single one, but most) there is an intimately linked fear response. It is not rational and it is part of the FIGHT RUN OR DIE part of our brain. If you see anything about being locked up your mind goes into over drive shitting itself in pure terror. That's basic human behavior. So I can see how this would have absolutely terrified some people in a few ways. I have never been locked up, but other stuff has happened to me that if I think about to much I get chills to run up my spine.

I thought it was funny, but yeah I feel for people like I.am. I won't claim to know how frighting it must be, but I know that panic, that basic fear is never ever pleasant.
