Are you never not alone? I don't mean lonely, that is a choice, but are you never not just with yourself and thats all you have and can ever be with? When you die, you alone go into the void of death, nobody comes with you. How is life different? Is it not merely a matter that we take form as something tangible, something real? Is it not really just the perception experienced through you? This is your world! Only you can experience this world, nobody else. So experience your world fully, be with it fully now, and see that in your world, everything and one is a projection of your consciousness, they aren't actually real, they're just part of the imagery in which you project, combined with thoughts and emotions to make this one happening. This means, i am creating you in my projected reality. How i choose to perceive my reality is a choice, how you choose to perceive your reality is a choice, but ultimately, are we not all projecting from the same source? So really, when we meet or congregate into groups, is it not just having a conversation and hanging out with yourself? When we walk through the trees, are you not just walking with yourself? In every moment, are you not just with yourself, manifesting in its many forms?

I am you, you are we, we is us.

It's kinda crazy really. In one way I see it as "we are always alone" and from another perspective "we are never alone". What is alone anyways. There can not be any "alone" if there is no "together" right?

Or maybe I'm too stoned right now.

In your body you have so many other living organisms - bacteria, viruses and all kinds of things... They will die with you - dont worry.

You must be correct. It seems the universe works in these simple yet mind bending paradoxes.

It seems it comes down to our perception of it, but we all already knew that.

im never alone.

i do get volunteered to do all the scary things first by myself though.
thats not exactly alone.........its more like crash test dummy with an audience behind.
POV gives the " alone" illusion.

ive made heroic and comical efforts over the yrs to be " alone"
.........like thats gonna happen.
i gave up.
its all about crowd management and limited appointments now.

No, you are not never not alone. 😁

Who knows. The more questions you ask, the more questions you think of, and no-one has a definite answer to any of them.

Like my signature says, what are YOU? anyway. What does that even mean. What is this that we're all experiencing? Why is this all happening instead of not happening?

It's like someone once said "I think, therefore I am." It might just be the one and only thing you can ever be truly certain of.

Alone as everything.

After all, it's only you. . . .

At the peak of heaven’s roof
In the churning guts of hell
As the only living soul
At the bottom of the well
Through and through and through and through
Ev’rything you see is you.

"No man is an island..........he's a peninsula" as The Jefferson Airplane put it, is a workable way of looking at the question IMO. From the surface we may appear distinct but plunge the intervening waters and the 'land-mass' is contiguous.

Are we ever alone?

I guess it depends on how you look at it and at which level you want to attempt to conceptualize about

The hyperspatial state of mind always makes me laugh when I think about the individual self as being alone in its own consciousness...Or perhaps it is laughing at me...Or both :p . To me it makes the case pretty clear that we are all like some kind of non-local fractal lenses through which the infinite levels of the collective consciousness can interact with itself. And that the idea that you are ever alone because you usually don't know there is even a window in your room is absurd.

Having said that...I read this earlier...

"We seek validation from others. This is natural, we want to feel like we are enough. Until we feel "I AM ENOUGH", we will always return to suffering. I AM ENOUGH means you are divine. Your innate creativity which sources from the same ocean of creativity that created the universe. You are THAT and THAT is enough.

Creativity is divine. You are the bridge between spirit and earth

In order to find peace in challenging situations (it seems so easy when all is going according to plan), we must EMBODY "I AM ENOUGH". Beyond our subconscious programming of self-limiting beliefs, beyond our desire to please others and be accepted, beyond our shame and fears of expressing our authentic self, beyond our guilt of living a life full of abundance and love, beyond the construction of one's "false self" who many of us have created based on what everyone else made you believe you were, YOUR BEINGNESS IS ENOUGH.

You are an operating system. You can upgrade for free at any time. "

We are all the same thing.

With that being said, our unique perspective projects its own interpretation of everything to create our experience of reality.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

However, it is also true that our experiences with others will absorb their perspectives. In that sense, we absorb them and they become infused into our experience of reality.

People who have recently had loved ones pass away commonly describe a feeling of "sensing" their loved one with them.

Maybe they are just recognizing their loved ones' presence in their own psychology from a different perspective now that they are no longer alive? We are a culmination of others perspectives just as much as our own.

Even if our absorption of others' perspectives stems from our own understanding of their perspectives, something foreign is still making a change that wouldn't otherwise happen.

It is hardly EVER nature or nurture. It is ALMOST ALWAYS both.

It's all a paradox, maaaaaaan

No matter how alone we appear to be, our bodies are inseparable from the rest of our environment. We need the world to breathe, eat and reproduce... we can still feel separate, isolated and alone though.

I feel this separateness is in the mind, whose nature is to divide. As beyond thoughts of other, there is only one of you here... from the micro to the macro, as an individual person and as that which alone is, there is only one of you.

If you’re alone as an individual, you can be lonely
If you’re alone as the Infinite, you're in the best company possible.
