Shpongle...oh Shpongle!
I think that Shpongle was Simon Posford's best project to date. Sure I like Younger Brother and Celtic Cross (a little bit), but Shpongle is amazing each and every time I listen to it.
I think "Nothing Lasts but Nothing is Lost" is lacking in some ways, but the other two albums are beyond words.
Tales of the Inexpressable, Track 1 was playing my first experience. I still have memories of that experience every time I hear it.

Yeah Shpongle are the masters...no one can touch them. And its the same for me, listening to Shpongle brings back very special memories, and puts me in a place no other music can.

Entheogenic is dope, I have the albums Golden Cap and Spontaneous Illumination.
Spongle's "Around the World in a Tea Daze" from Tales is one of my favorites. The flute part is amazing. I'm going to have the privilege to see a Shpongle Dj set, Hallucinogen Live, and Ott, on June 5th.... can't wait...

The show in October is going to be insane, have fun. I hope someday Shpongle Live comes to the States. I don't care though, I'll swim across the ocean to see Shpongle live.

^^ Actually I saw Shpongle in CO last week. He also did a set at Wakaroosa and is playing one at Rothbury. I paid more than 35$ and it was well worth it. They aren't going to play a live show, they only do that a couple times a year and its a 10 piece band. It will be Simon Posford Djing Shpongle. The show in CO had an amazing stage act, you should really go, you'll have a blast. You might meet some people, but then again I don't know how many people are going to be in any condition to have a conversation, I know I wasn't.

I wouldn't mind seeing shpongle live, but from what I've heard, when they do a headlining gig the atmosphere's a bit lacking (one friend, one show so I'm not judging too hard). I'd like to see them outdoors with dancing people.

Haha Simon Posford is so hilarious. He is really entertaining to watch live, he dances around basically narrating the music with his antics.

I love the shpongle and I cannot wait for the new album to come out this fall. I do not want to listen to a single note of the album until my head is either full of dmt, lsd, psilocybin, or mescaline. I don't know which one, but it will be one of them, maybe even a mixture.
I will be seeing most of the twisted crew at camp bisco this year. Shongle DJ set, OTT, Younger Brother Live, Prometheus, and some others. I have heard the Shpongle DJ sets that Simon puts on are shit. He just stands up on the stage and pushes play on a cd player. I hope that the SHpongle set is late night this year, because I think it would be way better than in the day.
