A few different questions here:
.) Ran my first extraction on some young arundinacea following the attached file’s process (someone who knows the source of this file should give credit in comments). It is supposed to yield a yellow oil, however only yielded crystals. Is this because i used only leaf material (stems yield oily fats and may necessitate a defat step) or did i mess up?
.) Bought some propylene glycol to dissolve the crystals and fill a cart, however these crystals did not dissolve. If these crystals are dmt, 5meo, etc, should they dissolve in the glycol? Some say it’s best for dmt while others say it won’t work at all. Testing the product yielded very slight effects as opposed to the potent first test hit, where a small test from the same batch was able to dissolve into the remaining oil in the cart, with the help of a bit of residual naphtha that i hadn’t realized was present.
.) Should i test the product? If so, what’s the cheapest way to do so
.) Any recommendations for the above process? Better processes using mostly the same materials?
