Hi everyone...

I thought I'd share some of my music I've made over the years, most of which is heavily influenced by psychedelia. I hope some of you may enjoy it; it's great for "pre-boarding"...

For those curious, these tracks are a mix of live instruments, found sounds and looping. Software used was ProTools and Ableton Live. These are older tracks, but still quite timely.

Thanks for listening :)

Very nice! I've never used Pro Tools or Ableton Live for that matter...it is, however, something I've been meaning to look into. For now it is FL Studios all the way for me! ;)

Good work !

I especially like The Sea of Crystal Synapse , Prisms Past and Portal .

This makes me think again about a Nexus Compilation I wanted to compile , this is exactly what i wanted to collect from other nexians. (and myself , i make music too).
Visual Art is so present here ...
Maybe the time will come.

I really recommend Bitwig Studio. Its a new sequencer coded from most of the original Ableton guys (and some other guys).
Its amazing !
The code is fresh (not like Ableton) and its very inovative .

Awesome! Thanks for the tip and I will be looking into this for sure!

Wow, good job man! How'd you get the instruments in there, did you record yourself or?

I'm about to release a psybient/psychill/psytrance album shortly. I use FL studio for 99% of my stuff and then audacity for the other 1%.

hey thanks for the listens and the comments folks!

as far as recording myself, moving between Live and PT makes it pretty easy...
some guitar and bass playing, looping, importing into Live....very fun.
i'm mainly a keyboardist, so that is natural
used a ton of Native Instruments stuff as well
and some Alan Watts quotes too :d

also, i totally agree - Bigwig is great. very robust now, and affordable. i've got a PT rig so i'm pretty immersed in that world, but i also like to use Logic. there's so much to choose from now...

i've heard great things about FLstudio; it's PC only as i remember, and i'm a Mac guy...:?:

cheers!
