I am very familiar with DMT and the extraction process. Just to clear up before anyone asks if Im sure it's my kinda thing.

I know this belongs in the aya section, but since I cant post there as of yet I figured this was as good as place as any. My question is, since aya is comprised of the caapi (which is the MAOi) as well as an admixture (as the source of DMT) - could you do a caapi extract and then drink the admixture brew or would that take away from the overall experience? And couldnt you also in theory throw in (probably not the best choice of words) other dmt containing plants such as acacia confusa or the countless others? The only reason I ask is because it seems mhrb is becoming less readily available and up until now that was my primary source of our beloved molecule.

Personally I wouldn't even throw in Mimosa Hostilis into Ayahusaca.
Chacruna (or Psychotria Viridis) contains enough DMT which IMO is way easier to boil out of the foilage. just grind it up a bit.

As for the Caapi you can use Gibran2's 'easy caapi extraction' Tek and once you have your alkaloids you can acidify (vinegar, fumaric acid etc.) into a salt form and once evaporated will be water soluable

Or you can measure out around 200mg etc.. once extracted and encapsulate them.

otherwise the MAOI's from the Caapi can just be boiled in the AYA process traditionally.

Tell me how it works out for you

be safe

I never heard of anyone consuming any acacia tea, but you can still make a tea out of chacruna or chaliponga. You can do a caapi extract provided it's a sufficient amount. 250mg seems to be the rule of thumb as being the minimum for achieving sufficient inhibition to allow for oral activation of DMT.

do you know about how much caapi is necessary to get that much in an extract? Like what the yield ratio is?

I think it's like 50g caapi vine. I usually work with rue, so I'm a little rusty on caapi knowledge, but I'm pretty sure that's accurate.

I would shoot for a threshold dose of 50 grams of only the most elderly Caapi Muricata (black caapi)

otherwise cieclo (white caapi)
or yellow caapi even boil around 100 - 120 grams as long as upto 9 hours if you want a real dose

with Roja or red, mckenna's infamous hawaiian strain- maybe 85 grams

the MAOI content arraigned form white - yellow - red contains anywhere from .11% to .9%

but a good ol and literally old black caapi vine may contain as much as 2%

Ma+h tim3
so say the mean of the white/yellow/red is .7% than you will need 140 grams of cappi boil to give you the average dose of 200mg
where as with Black caapi you may need only 40 grams!!!

That is the key. 1st off some people literally marinate their caapi in some lemon juice over a 24 hour shaking the bag every hour. Another would be to boil the caapi alone upto 12 hours long using an entire gallon or more of distilled water with a dash of lemon. Stir well! think Tea! and strain 3 times every four hours than adding them altogether to boil down reducing to a volume of about 150ml, so a small cupful (for best results) the key to the key I just told you is patient diligence. while maybe you read a good book

1 thing not to do is let it boil over. and even though some people say to bring to pre-boil simmer testifying against boiling it to avoid caramalizing the sugars into a pungently bitter vile of gag reflex inhibiting tea from hades toilet bowl ... ( I however did NOT have this terrible reaction that most get) eitherway it's a crucial to the alchemical process to draw out the MAOI's

plus to keep your self from relinquishing your stomach too early, you can and should drink the cup within three gulps, chasing it with a small amount of ginger imbued chamomile tea. works like a charm 😉

not to mention 50 grams of chacruna will then be all that's nessecary, but remember to drink the caapi tea at least 20 minutes before hand. Waiting for the effects to kick in... meditation helps here to prepare you while you ground yourself before the ride takes flight.

Tell us how it goes, Ayahuasca is awesome, and very gentle. this is a long post, I just want everybody to be informed.

Safe travels
