Advice concerning Aya retreat please

As a fellow yanker and solo stripper this thread has reassured me to continue to carry on with what I have been doing. Both yank and tripwise😆🤘

Quite honestly tripping with others isn't my cup of tea nor would I want the responsibility to ensure someone doesn't wig out. I also realize my own faults might make things worse and wouldn't want to have that effect on anyone.

I really enjoy helping others but there is a point with helping others before it starts to effect your own wellbeing. So many complexities and things to balance at the same time. I also ponder the drive to want to be so self less.

The cost and cultural appropriation aspect for me takes away from the healing significance potential. There are many folks who can't afford the medicine through one of these businesses much less any formal training nor are they affiliated with any indigenous group yet they are benefiting from adopting their own practice while approaching with complete reverence through directly working with the plants. This is no different than our ancestors who braved the very first journey on their own.

Sucks to have to endure any kind of dogma that doesn't resonate with you as a means to journey, which would seem very alien and quite invasive.
