Yeah, found it on torrent already. ;)

I haven't seen the movie yet but I think it's about Peyote, that because this same fragment you can find at our filesd page and its name is: Blueberry_PeyoteVisions.

Otherworlds is an excellent film, highly reccomended. My mate told me blueberry is crap the only good bit is the trippy bit, pretty sure its about peyote as well as it is a cowboy film. My mate said he thinks they just made the film for the trippy bit lol

It´s actually supposed to be a mixture of ayahuasca, peyote and other admixtures.. here´s what the director of the film, Jan Kounen, said on a message board about it:

HI there,

I found this post typing my name associated to the vine, lot's messages, and I found right just to give you my feedback.

1/ from the dilema peyote/ ayahuasca, it's clear that 's the visions comes from my own Ayahusca/mixed sometimes by Kestenbetsa with other master plants (I'm of course not speaking the the chacruna, always present in any brew) I did put peyote because in the film the idea, is that an ancien civilisation had created a temple, the shipibo shaman had a dream and made a journey of many years to became the protector the place centuries later, in the current time of the film, the place is inhabited by the plants spirits and the dead shamans (mumies).

the reason of the presence of both ayahuasca and peyote, (and many others) is that the mixture is the ultimate one, mixing differents sources and knowledge. it's a filmaker idea based on the story that told my brother Kestenbetsa, that he took years ago, a brew based on (san pedro/aya/peyote/datura/ and mores. a very very strong journey (bastante fuerte).

In resume that backstory had to quit the film in the edit stage, but I knew I had to speak about it one day, when the film will reach, travellers like you. That's a pleasure to find your topic, Anyway I always knew that I 've done that movie for Ayahuasqueros in the second place, to share with, the beauty and madness of the knowledge the Indigenous people, that I've done the movie in the first place for.

"other worlds" is available with a book but in French, and I will post on my website jankounen.com/ when I will have a dvd with english sutitles.

in the states my film " blueberry" is called renegade and they did put somes guns in the hand of the actor on the poster, hahaha (I did my best to make them change their mind but they would not) , the real edition is vision on the cover, and blueberry plant look like the soma plant...another subject matter.

friendly,

Jan

That video was VERY NICE. Thanks for posting that link. The part at the end made me laugh. Even my daughter enjoyed that video. In her words it was “cool, weird, and creepy”. She’s only 5.

I haven't seen such an accurate portrayal as that before, ever. Prior to that, I think the closest I’ve seen was in 2001 A Space Odyssey in which a transcendental experience is depicted which I thought was also well done (but I think it was LSD inspired).

that video has already been in the videos section of the nexus for a long time.. you should check it more often ;)
