SWIM haS noticed that a lot of people like to boil the plant matter 3 or more times, leaving the alkaloid-containing water on the side so they can later combine it all and reduce it.
Well SWIM was wondering if you can just keep on adding water over and over to the simmering tea, and still have the same effect as if one were to boil it multiple different times. It makes sense SWIM's head that if SWIM just keeps on adding more and more water, that the brew will still be the same, given that it was brewed for the amount of time it would've taken anyway.
So is it okay to do it this method or not? If not, why not? Thanks!
