Hey guys. Its been a while since I've posted. I'm not able to post this in the appropriate place, so I thought this would be the next best place to.

I recently obtained 500g Acacia Confusa and 250g Syrian Rue

I found this brew and I want to know its integrity.. I plan on brewing this weekend and I need a place to start. I cannot purchase caapi or anything else so I will have to do with what I have currently (Im on a time contraint, cant wait for arrival of additional products)

Recipe

Can someone translate this to Acacia Confusa? Boil times approximation?

Whats a good ratio for a beginner? And by how much should I increase my dosage each time?

Any other tek you'd reccomend that doesnt take days and days and that I can use with Acacia and Syrian Rue only?

250g rue   ? That is a lot! DO NOT consume more than 10g of it in one go. You can actually overdose on harmalas.

Generally you want to assume your ACRB is ~1-2% DMT and work from there. You really don't need to follow a recipe. Grind the ACRB and the rue into fine powder. Boil just the ACRB (5-20g) for an hour or so in water with a little vinegar. Boil just the rue powder (2-5g) for a shorter amount of time (maybe like 30 min) in water with a little vinegar.

If you want, you can also boil the rue and ACRB together. Use ~600ml of water total

Haha don't worry, I've done a little research!
Ive heard a basic dose would be say (R = rue(g) || B = bark(g))
3R:10B?

And cool, thanks! I know its not too hard to make, didn't know you could really just do that tho!

Is it true that the egg whites could lower nausea? Honestly I'm not concerned about the purge. I'm a strong believer in its meaning throughout the medicines history.

What would you reccomend me as a first timer? Ive dropped LSD ~50-100 times from early 2014 - early 2015 (But stopped and only took it like 4 times near the end of last year)
I havent tripped in about 5 months or so, but I've done a lot of smoked DMT over the past 3 months. Havent in a while tho.

Sorry for the load of info, I just want to approach this in the most safest way possible. What dose would you say would be enough to "get my feet wet"? I was thinking of dosing in the syrian rue first to know what that feels like first

Thanks!

The bark to rue ratio is more or less up to you. More harmalas -> more nausea though, so keep that in mind. Some people use 7g+ of rue in brews but personally I think that's just too much nausea. Stick with like 4-5g rue and whatever quantity of bark you deem fit for your experience.

20g+ should be a intense experience while 5g should be relatively mild. To "get your feet wet," perhaps try ~10g.

I've never heard about egg whites for nausea. I don't know if that works.

In my opinion, there is no best "first time" psychedelic drug. Each one has its own characteristsics.

There are those who suggest becoming familiar with the harmalas before adding anything else to the equation.

Fresh ginger root, or lemon balm against nausea. Egg whites precipitate tannins so the work against nausea there is indirect.

^This.
IMHO, brewing is an art. You need to fine the balance between harmalas & DMT, figure how to prepare the brew in the way that best suits you physical needs, & also work to cultivate intention, mindset, & a personal ritual and/or setting that facilitates positive experiences.

Personally i believe you should start with rue on its own for a while. Get a feel for how the brew effects you at different dosages. Enough that you can account for variability between experiences of the same dose.
Then slowly add in acacia brew a little at a time.
It may take a while, but I have noticed that over time the mind & body get acclimated to harmalas & after so long, as with any other substance, you are able to handle more intense effects much better.
It also allows you to get a feel for how you should prepare your enviornment for experiences & cultivate intention & personal ritual.

Very common sense stuff but IMO many overlook this approach in the quest for an immediate breakthrough.
