Base back to Salts

Sorry if this is a duplicate thread.

Can extracted base be turned back into salts?... If so, how does this effect the yeild?

Does DMT furmate have a longer shelf life than the base product?... If so, how long will it keep without degrading if stored properly?

Am I correct in saying base is not orally active even if combined MAOI's.?

What is the best way to store either of these extracts?

... Also I remember reading about a cold water extraction of MHRB for Aya. Anyone else heard of this or tried it?

This is going to sound counter productive in a way, but could those salts again be turned back into base?

Say for instance.. SWIM done a fairly large STB extraction and yeilded more than he could ever use or give away before it started to degrade. Could he keep it for an extended pieriod of time as a more stable salt then convert it back to base when needed?.. or would all this extra exposure to extraction chemicals degrade the spice even more than it would if it was just left as is?

Yes and then back again, then again. Your yields shouldn't suffer too noticably as long as you're careful.

Yes, I believe it's the most stable form of DMT known. I think if you keep it in an air tight container in a dryish place it will last for quite some time. I'm not sure if anyone knows exactly.

No base is active with an MAOI. IT just has a slower onset because it needs to convert to a salt form in the stomach before it can carry on with it's journey. But if you mix your freebase in a small glass of OJ that will convery it to a salt form and you can get that right down ya.

I just keep them both in amber glass vials. Some folk use the fridge/freezer whatever. You know what to do. Just remember we don't like light, heat or oxygen to get to our DMT.

I've never tried it myself, but here's some advice. No more than 10 grams to start with.

SWIM has done this before, but with varying success

He did a STB, pulled the freebase with xylene.
He salted out the freebase with warm vinegar.
Basified with NaOH and pulled with naptha.

He got 1.05g from 120g of MHRB, slightly yellow.


When he tried to do the same thing with 100mg of the said extracted mix.
he yielded only 21mg pure white crystals.

SWIM thinks this may have been because he didn't heat the vinegar.
SWIM has similar problems with mescaline extraction which was solved by heating the vinegar.

So if you want to try a STB + A/B extraction, it WILL work. (the elves told me )

But SWIM would recommend sodium carbonate washes or just re-dissoving in naptha/hexane to purify product.
