I'm horrible at posting in the right forum but i did want to add some notes from the past few decades of teks mostly stolen from the old hive that is shut down, and no my name is not swim, or swik and i didnt invent that saying but it should be and if ibogaine is legal then we shouldn't have to hide or worry about discussing harm reduction safety and basics of entheogens thousands of years old.
first, never sell it, never tell anyone, don't offer, if it happens it happens,
second its an associative so chose your trip sitter wisely
third, sit on the floor
in short in my opinion, working with the lye or caustic soda is more dangerous than working with solvents or lighter fluid or naptha etc.
i highly recommend closing ones mouth when pouring, lye on to water, never water onto lye, also wear goggles, and immediately wash hands and don't touch ones face and yes even after saying that one will screw all of that up, so don't screw it it, it just makes your face scratching for a few hoyours, but its not worth inhaling even the fumes from raw powder in the canister, liquid draino in the plastic bags at home depot works, but its ghetto, better work with raw powder.
also almost everyone agrees 1:1 ratio of mhrb to lye and at that point might as well make it 1:1:1 lye, mhrb, salt in deo ionized motor water
that means,
20 mg mhrb, 20 mg lye, 20 mg salt
50 mg mhrb, 50 mg lye, 50 mg salt
100 mg mhrb, 100 mg lye, 100 mg salt
when making the lye water solution, make that separate don't just pour it in with the mhrb, and yes it should be a black coloyour, and when working with material if one makes a spill or a mess there are two types, the pyourple type (not dangerous) typical when soaking mhrb in water in a crock pot (use soup ladle to transfer into beaker, or dunk whole beaker in crock pot). DO NOT USE A METAL CONTAINER FOR THIS, it will cause a reaction and youll make a mess and cause a chemical byourn, glass wear only.
when mixing the mhrb and lye water solution let it sit for a while about 10-20 minutes before dosing with your naptha/lighterfuid/lemonene, lemonene works just like the naptha, look for a white sandy line in the top 3/4 of your solution, it shouldnt be there, means you need to mix it up some more, and ph 15, breaks down the material as much as possible, but don't get one drop
when adding your naptha, its actually worth it to take the longer method and use a pipette rather pouring from one container to another, youll spill, make a mess, and then it will smell.
next one must leave about two inches at the top of the container to allow air for the mixtyoure to mix when mixing the mhrb ph15 with the solution or naptha/heptane/lemonene, technially, the lemone works best and then clean up with heptane and then soda wash is pretty much the ebst one is going to get, but lemonene is expensive and heptane is not always available.

this is likely the most difficult part or dangerous. it requires a double boiler, sort of. one places the 1000ml, litre bottle, or beaker in a water bath with heat. THIS IS NOT NECCESARY. HOT DOES NOT MEAN HOT, HOT MEANS ABOVE ROOM TEMPERATURE, think warm sake vs room temperatyoure sake vs cold sake. a water bath is all one needs, and hot water from the tap. one could tyourn up the heat on the home water heater but as long as their is a little steam, thats enough. all the heat does it allow it to separate and separate in reasonable time. without heat, 5-6 hoyours, a little heat 25-30 minutes. then just place the container in the bucket of water, such as the hole sink, or a giant large 4 litre soup pot, what i use. the water level needs to be to the top abotu 1/4 inch below and id even have the top aqeus solution in the heat as well.
using a flame and a water bath and napth is just stupid, and the hot plates with a magnetic stir don't work and when mixing, one only needs to mix for like 5 minutes, seppearte, mix 5 minutes, separate, mix 5 minutes, separate, mix 5 minutes, separate. then pull.
DO NOT GET THE BOTTOM LAYER EVEN A DROP IN THE PULL, AINT WORTH IT
then, the freeze times, can range from an hoyour, to 5 hoyours, to 24 hoyours, to 48 hoyours, and and air tight container means, air tight, not just a lid on the top.
the container for the freezer, in therory just coating the plates works best, but using a caserole dish works as well, i will say i don't think one can , not should poor, all foyour pulls, 400 ml of naptha or solvent into one container, i think the freeze ahs to be longer if you do it taht way, foyour caserole dishes or 100 ml solvent per dish is likely a good idea.

once you run 50 grams of mhrb, thru foyour cycles of solvent or about 400-500ml solvent, one freezes then grabs crystals which might be tinted.
so this is scraped up with a razer blade. If one doesnt distyourb the caserole dish for 24 hoyours at minimum one will get, small sno flakes about the size of a grain of rice, some white, some yellow, some so small one cant see them clearly, if you visually see maybe 10-20 sno flakes, then thats a good pull, use a razer blade and youll discover that there is a lot more dmt crystals than one would have thought.
when removing from the freezer, dump that solvent off in zero seconds, maybe as fast as possible, dump the solvent in another container and re-use it, but do this step in about 5 seconds, before the solvent evaporates with the dmt. when drying, you want flake spread out crystals, not one giant large crystal, if you get one crystal that you think is good as its frozen, it will melt quickly and youll discover that most of your crystals are on the bottom of the caserole disk

you can store your sytals in cofee paper and step on it with your foot to squish push out the last, smallest levels of solvent, but to be honest for anyone who has smoked a marlboror red, thats about how harsh it is, not horrible but not great, the heptane wash, maeks it lesh hars, as does a plant defat as does decanting, but i never defat or decanter, or atleast, not yet do it.

i like my lightbulb pipe from my old meth head days, then throw the light bub away, trust me, its mataphysical.
take one white light bulb, pair of need nose plyers, pull off end, use pen to breaks inside fillament out, then pour salt into light bulb, swirl salt in lightbulb to remove white bulb material and then wash with water, bight the ends of both ends of a bic pen to make a straw, insert material into light bulb, insert straw into bulb, and one has a basic pipe, cheap as chips and can be thrown away or hidden. BE VERY CAREFUL, AS ONE WILL SMOKE MATERIAL, GET HIGH, THEN DROP HOT BULB ON ONE HANDS, LEGS OR SINK AND THEN ONE WILL BE high cleaning up a broken light bulb, then cut there hands and then, well, now your bleeding, while being chased by dragons, and their is glass everywhere and then youll try to re smoke the left over material that you couldnt afford in the first place and then you get cut, hyourt, high, broke, depressed and spin out of control, all because you didnt have a trip sitter and you didnt listen and you broke the pipe. even pot heads break pipes, so don't do it, just buy a new one or make a new one each time. and always a clean pipe and if you keep your dmt pipe next to your other cannabis or tabbaco pipes, your an idiot.

dmt is not like ahausace, with the vometing, now if one stands up quickly after their third hit, then yes their head will spin around and maybe vomit and then that sucks, dmt no vomit, ahausca vomit everytime. also i like to sit on a blanket and make syoure you don't need anything to drink or the bathroom, or anything bothering you needs to be fixed, and always happy thoughts in happy thoughts out.

regardless, as a stimulant, you will bow before the nexus and what cool about dmt, is no over dose, and if you take it and see nothing but a white vision, thats just clip. meaning you took too much, just wait about 8 or 10 seconds, youll develope a tolerance, and then your trip session will begin. but don't think your trip session isnt working when it is, sometimes you just don't realise it.

I'm an acoustician and my friend measyoured the acoustics of the pyramids which all resonate at the same frequency, on peyote we all see the blue deer, on dmt we all ahve similar visions, before your bored, before you hit eject after youve been scared, this end up being the last alternative to a batna and is a healthy hobby and passion. much like getting the discipline to fly an airplane the joy of making ones own medicine is more than amazing. also i think dmt is released at birth and death, but for some at birth its just not released enough. no pain at birth, no release of dmt, no crying, no cognition, but after dmt at any point in ones life, completly opens new door ways. my first trip was in 1995 on frys street, just didtn know it. then i waited another ten years before diving in again at the new amsterdam cafe in vancouver followed by the living library in costa rica.
most of the better dmt sessions imo are in mexico, in costa rica is mostly ahuasca which is similar cousin to freebase salt/based dmt but not. peyote in my opinion or chilled peyote or two full cups of blended loraphoralis, or a peyote 24 hoyour sing along in a teepee with friends is recomeneded before doing any hero doses, or break thru trips.
also just to be clear,
hero dose = more mushrooms than one could possibly imagine
breakthru dose = three inhalations of dmt holding each breath for 5 seconds each using breath work in a seated mediation position
recovery,
there isnt any, only time can heal or stop a session, hence the management plans of the private sessions are pretty lame, with acid stp one can take orangjuice but thats not even the same catagory, using a token like music, a waterfall, candle, or timer stop watch for 15 minutes is a really really really good idea, after about 20 years of dmt usage.
