best bufotenine solvent

Hi guys.
Here in Italy is pretty difficoult to find almost everything, so I would like your opinion on what solvent may be the best to pull 5-ho from a basified anadenanthera sp. cake.

I have:
trichloroethylene
acetone
naphta
alchol (ethylic)

well... this. I've look around so much for IPA, or similar, but just can't find them

Can you help me?

I'm sorry if I open a new topic, maybe a Sticky for bufotenine-5-meo help would be nice =)

Out your selection:

Acetone will work great (check out the No-smell tek in the bufo subforum)

never tried Trichloroethylene

naptha will not work

hi,

acetone would be grat if I had fumaric acid, indeed. But, unfortunatly, I haven't.

edit: give a look to this, and tell me if you guys think it'll work.

I make 3 acetone pulls on the anadenanthera, taking both the bufo and the dirty stuff.
I then add HCl, and the bufo should precipitate out pretty fast.

Then, I mix the bufoHCl with calcium carbonate, to freebase again, add acetone, again, make 2 pulls maybe, filter it, keep the liquid, let it dry out.

Whould it work?

Does this mean that if extracting DMT from a plant that contained bufotenine as well, that doing an extraction first with naptha would only pull the n,n and 5-MeO, leaving the bufo?
