Best vaporizer?

SWIM bought a vaporstar and it is VERY hit or miss..it seems like it doesnt work as easily as the VG..

its possible the vaporstar could be figured out..but it doesnt really vaporize things very well..by the time he finally gets it hot enough to vaporize anything...all that ends up happening is that everything gets burnt to a crisp..

the VG on the other hand is much more..consistent..and the whole pipe is beautiful..

SWIM has found though..that its a good idea to clean the VG out every month or so..because otherwise a whole bunch of dmt remnants collect in it..and kinda ruin the experience..so keep your VG clean..and you wont be disappointed

VG is great for dmt. also hash. the wood smells nice. jamming 7+ screens in there prevents melting drippage, the network of meshes work like 'the machine'

some people can't stand not being able to see what you're vaping...but for me it is one less thing to worry about. it takes a little practice but you can easily learn to know how hot it needs to feel for vaping to happen.

So I went and picked up a green Classic VG, the hand carved ones look really nice but none of the shops around here have them. I've experimented with a few bowls of ganja, it seems to work pretty well. If I was to smoke spice out of it can I place it on top of a bowl of ganja instead of using multiple screens?

i suggest you do both. the multiple screens (i have about 7 or 8 layered in mine) won't effect the air flow but WILL prevent your melted spice from dripping down too far away from the element to be vaporized.

...waste not....want not.... :)

Not really trying to spend more than $300

I prefer glass over metal, etc.

On the Arizer Solo I never really vaped more than a #2-#3, so it's mostly only low temperature vaping that I care about

Suggestions?

Well, ScriabinAnime, that depends. Which one do you prefer?

The only efficient and reliable, all-glass vaporizer I have come across is the GVG. Many members believe the GVG is the top-of-the-line when it comes to vaporizing DMT, myself included. Look into the threads on convection v. conduction, the countless other "Which vaporizer should I buy?" threads, and make your own decision. Someone else's preference might not necessarily be yours.

glass vapor genie with a thin "pancake" shaped screen made out of copper scrubber pad. i used to use the stainless steel screens but the spice would seek out the cooler glass walls of the pipe and run down the sides. now with the coiled "brain" like copper pad it seems to vaporize much more efficiently and less runs down the sides. i can usually clear the bowl in one hit with nothing left using an arc lighter(torch). also get the protective case for it! worth the extra money.

I just seen this glass vapo bowl advertised .. its a small glass piece with a titanium top and gauze either 14/18mm that fits onto a water bong for vaping..I think you just put a flame over the small opening on the top to create a heat vortex to vape...anyone know if this works with spice?

I tried my whip vaporizer with DMT, it was not great.
I made a "machine" out of a salt shaker (2 for €2), it works much better.
It just takes a dremel to drill a hole at the bottom of the shaker.

I also got a Firefly last month. It's quite impressive with changa. I've also used it for freebase with a slightly domed 5/8" Ti 60-wire screen placed halfway down into the bowl. Had to play around with the heat/draw technique a bit at first, but after I got it down... :love:

$300 oooh that's a tight budget.

Glass vapour genie is meant to be the best, costs about 1/3 of your budget and lets you actually see the smokey vapours you're going to inhale which I think is a big factor.

There's nothing worse than wasting all of your breath thinking you're getting a good dose of dmt when really all you're getting is air and some butane.

I have a vapour genie. It's definitely the smoothest smoke I've tried when I vape properly, but then I can only compare it to a hand made machine and a bong. Actually the bong is probably the least harsh if you put ice cubes in the water. The only problem I found with a bong is that some of the vapours tend to escape out of the cap.

But yeah for $300 you could get 3 GVG, or you could make 30 machines.

I'd definitely go for a GVG; smooth smoke, can see what you're inhaling, easy to use, comes with a case!

You'd have $100 left to travel out into the mountains with a tent to smoke dmt at night and another $100 to send to me so I can buy one as well.
