big beautiful crystals

Say, Swim ends up with 1g of spice, and wants to turn it into one big beautiful crystal. How would he go about doing this?

One big crystal won't be easy. But your best option for that is to get it as pure as you can, then dissolve it in your slowest evapping solvent and leave that to evap at room temperature.

It helps maybe to have a little bit of a crystal in the middle to act as a seed.

yes, as soulfood said, first yield pure stuff.. then, redissolve it.. but dont just evap in room temperature, also cover the evapping container except for a small opening.. put it in a place with little air circulation..

and forget about it! It might take months to fully evaporate, but it will be, if not one big crystal, but at least some awesome big crystals

Planning on it ^^ Thinking of using like a glass bowl, with a bigger plastic bowl covering it, and a hole in the middle of it for low air exchange, but good evap. Also, what can be used to clean equipment before using for any part of the extraction? (jugs,bowls,utensils etc.)
