So whats the deal with the different "colors" of caapi? I'm looking to get some to make some changa but I am seeing difference colors of it, whats the difference and which do I need? And it is infact the vine I need right? don't want to be throwing in something that's even worse to smoke than the dmt itself haha!!

Is it even the vine I need or do I need the leaves? I am so confused here... Would I be better off going with some sort of harmala extract and adding that in with some sort of smooth tasting pleasant smoking herb if I am trying to make it a nicer smoke? I can't honestly see smoking a vine being very pleasant!

And I should also add in here, this is my first time trying changa, my reason for it is that I have a hard time wanting to smoke DMT just on its on, 1 of the main reasons being how fast you have to smoke it all and get all the smoke in. So what I hear is that changa avoids that especially when a MAOI is used? Is this true or did I read bullshit? That is what I am going for is being able to smoke it at a slower rate!! And yes as well adding the MAOI for a longer effect!! I am going to go with I think the caapi vine for sure just because that is the basic right? What else would anybody recommend to help make it an enjoyable smoke? It would really help if the smoke didn't taste like inhaling a nuclear waste bin!

Thanks in advance!

White Caapi seems to be the most popular. But even it could vary A LOT in potency, so test your batch before full take-off. Start with 20g via THP method. Once upon a time I've got very potent white Caapi and brewed a regular 100g dose. That was a nightmare :) Start slow.

You can drink the brew and then after you feel it starts - smoke DMT.

Usually with changa you smoke the caapi leaves, not the woody vine.

I dont know which leaves are most popular for changa, but for making tea most people use cielo and amarillo Ayahuasca (I rarely see or hear of people using white). Cielo (sky) and amarillo (yellow) are good for beginners and also good in most situations (very flexible medicine as opposed to some other vines which might have more specialized purposes).

As for whether harmalas or leaves is better..... Personal preference. I like to stick to whole plants more then extractions of parts, but that is my own preference.
