Caapi extract help please

Hey I cant post in the correct section right now as im still a new member. (how long till that changes or what do i need to do?)

Im rounding the end of my caapi extraction and Im having some difficulties. I finished the acid wash and added the naoh. Problem is i mixed 60ml water with 5g naoh and insted of using about 20ml I added it all. The goodies are having a hard time settling, some are even floating. Bar waiting all night could i just perform the acid step on this again and start over ?

Stick it in the fridge for 6-8 hours. The harmalas should either sink or consolidate into a more-or-less singular floating mass.

You can also just pour it off through a coffee filter, let the filter/alkaloids dry and collect them.
