Hi,
I have dried material of T. peruvianus. Last time I boiled it half hour and eat it all, but it was very difficult to not puke. I'm used on cacti bitter taste, but the consistency made it most disgusting meal of my life :)
Next time I want to make tea from the same dried material. I will boil it 5 hours in water with lemon juice, filter hard material, boil it again in new water with lemon juice, filter hard material and mix tea from both boilings.
How many percent of potency will remain?
Is some more effective recipe? (I have one day for it and final product have to be tea, not pure mescaline powder)
Thank you for replies :)

If you want something easy, try house's cactus resin tek, you should find here in the forum or wiki. Its basically just evaporating the tea down to a resin in a glass dish in the oven on low setting, until you are left with a resin which you scrape up, roll into pill-sized pieces, roll them in some flour to coat them and prevent you from tasting, and then swallow them like pills.

great!
So if I will prepare it by instructions from erowid, can you estimate how much of strength will remain compared to consuming all material?
I would say around 80%, but it will be great if someone can confirm it :)
thanks
