Does anyone notice that they have developed a certain degree of awareness from their cactus sessions that transcends what we might consider to be the "normal" 5 senses?

I've noticed a "sharpening" of my awareness for sure. I've also had some of what I might consider to be "psychic" insights about things during and just after a session. The sharpening seems to persist into my "normal" life well after the session.

I remember pondering one time when I was on cactus that if the people ever really needed to overthrow a tyrannical government, that there really wouldn't be any way we could through our current technologies. But, if we could develop our other abilities beyond the current level of human understanding, anything could be possible, and even in a peaceful way.

No, I don't spend a lot of energy thinking about overthrowing the government, I just thought it to be an interesting thought. Not the main premise of my post.

This (long lasting perspective changes through Pedro) is a great gift to receive and
feels like real magic! The San Pedro can really change things, but in
a very different way - maybe not so obvious for certain people - than shrooms oder aya.
Literally spoken, the effects of than Pedor reminds me of the wind,
operating in the hidden chambers of heart
Just my 2 cents 😉

my consciousness is significantly expanded as is my sensory awareness. i feel a flow that is reality and observe myself within the flow in an unobstrusive fashion, i also see what descions i could make/ actions i could do that would alter or maintain this energetic homeostasis

this flow is envelopes karma but is much more

I can't put my finger on what it is.. But I really think I know what you are talking about. When I talk to people after the experience.. it.. I feel like they are more "real" convos.. hmm.. How do I put it.. They seem more heart to heart. At least with my family. With people who are already sketchy. They convos become even MORE sketchy and odd.. It is an abnormal experience for sure. Psychic, I'm not sure.. Magical, no doubt.

i like to think that cactus untangles intention and realligns them in accordance to the users will, the same is true for communication. it seems to let a user be most precise when transmitting information in any fashion, rather than jumbled knots of misinformation

All psychedelics have lead me to feel similarly - like I'm better equipped to sort the bullshit from the truth (at least for myself :) )

but cactus - for me - while doing this, has also made me feel more accepting of circumstances and people and everything - not that I was mean, nasty and conflicted by any stretch - but every cactus journey leaves me feeling kinder and gentler I must say.

For me, one of the big differences between cactus and other entheogens is that the spiritual experiences I have on cactus are much more easily incorporated into my "real" life than other entheogens.

I remember taking LSD back in the day and having all these amazing revelations, and waking up the next morning and none of it made any sense any more. Even if I made sure to write it down, record my word, whatever.

Now part of this of course may be where I am in life right now. I've progressed (I hope) quite a bit further along my "spiritual" path by dedicating myself to meditation practice.

well said!

I have extreme bouts of synchronicity these days. I had gotten that from mushrooms, but never quite like what happens with the cactus. It's like I get tapped into whoever's conscious energy I am with. I end up saying things they were thinking, totally unrelated, or they say things I'm thinking. It has happened so much, I hardly acknowledge it any more. It's not as though I'm psychic, but I just connect with some people (usually loved ones) on a nearly supernatural level.

I have not had a true aya experience, but to me the cactus is the most mystical experience I've had, and has expanded my awareness greatly.

I once took just a couple grams of strong dry torch outer flesh and hiked around a wetland that followed the beach here..it was a really light glowy vibe for like 6 hours..and I was able to like call up snakes..seriousily they would just come out of the grass the whole time and I would be like "theres one, oh theres another..theres a snake over there". My sister was just like wtf? So was I. I dont think I have seen a snake there again.

I've had really intense synchronicities and psychic experiences on lsd, mushrooms, dmt, and to a lesser extent cacti; which i haven't worked with more than a handful of times. But they definitely leak into day to day life in bizarre ways that often freak out my friends and family, and myself lol

Some years ago, I had a perfect mind-range cacti session with two friends (250 fumerat extract from T.Panachoi) at the ocean in France. Oh man - it was a bright sunny day, the wind was blowing cold, the water was brilliant, like million diamonds reflecting the sun an the sky was an endles blue infinity.
This panaroma is now "burned" in my memories. Every time, I am nearby the water (ocean/river) and when wind blows and sune shines, I can (emotionally) recall this endless day at the sea.

By the way: This expierenced affect me in a positiv way like 3 weeks of the holidays, a great refresh!

And: Has anybody noticed special synergies between Pedro and water (ocean/river)?

one of the names of hauchuma is "aguacolla"

water is an intregal part of all my and my fellow practitioners
its been made apparent in many ways

one was a vision of the future cactus practice being centered around a cactus shrine/monument and a communal drinking well for all peoples to refresh with. the water was to be understood as the universal energy flowing through a body reminding them of the interconnectedness of all. to become one again

cactus seems to have suggested that water is polarizing, not just as a solvent in extractions but in a more entheogenic sense.

running water, ions flowing in the same direction continually, seems to magnetize my body's polarity, realigning its energy. in a shower i feel emotionally washed and refreshed, all bad juju gets rinsed off and i return to mySelf.

showers and bathing have long since been adopted in my ritual as the beginning and end of them.

also drinking lots of water before san pedro use is highly recommended to avoid headaches

on a less advised note, i love swimming on light doses of cacti, nothing serious (not yet atleast) but just floating around and diving down and feeling the water

once boated on a large lake in such conditions, not only was boating freaking awesome (as was jetskiing) but once i turned it off and let it float in the middle of the lake i really took in what you described

When I think about it, almost every single time I have taken the cacti I went to the beach. I skimboarded a bunch of times on cactus..

The diamonds on the surface of the water. So beautiful!

Aren't we all reflections of some kind of light?

Shine on you crazy diamonds!
