Hi forum

The discovery that peyote is legal in my part of the world has lead me to have a deeper interest in cacti ,now that its more feasible.

And I found these in my garden,I'd never taken notive till now
sorry for the bad pic, if you cant ID off this , i'll try get a better one.

I don't really have any reason to believe they're psycho active , I'm just hoping like hell

my suspicion is either San Pedro , or Trichocereus macrogonus , but thats more a guess then anything.

Thanks

I can't be certain, but it looks like plain cereus to me. It might make some nice fruits for you (a type of pitaya).

Well in thirteen years neither of the clumps of this cactus that i have ,have had a flower or a fruit. If that helps
It may be older than that but I've only been around it for that long

It is really not a trichocereus. Most likely a cereus as ouro already said.

I have stumbled upon these beasts quite a few times and they look as nicely grown trichocerei from the distance but alas, it's not the real thing when you get closer. Like a mirage in the desert.

Ahhhh, oh well, doubted they'd be worthwhile . . . but if they were ( i wanted them to be so badly) , I'd have a combined like , hundred meters of psycho active cacti , oh well. the search continues . . .

You guys said its not, but just in case ,heres another pic
