Wale - He's really fallen off since signing...really since dropping his first album...but every mix tape prior to that (and the More About Nothing tape) are all great releases from this DC MC.

This group is called Main Attrakions and the album is called 808's and Dark Grapes, which is immediately apparent if you visit the following link: 808s & Dark Grapes II, by Main Attrakionz

>I find that this album is a nice blend of creative beats, interesting sounds, and lyrics which are at times meaningful and at times difficult to understand (both literally and figuratively). I think they're especially good for being a group of 20-year olds supposedly, though I've never verified this information.

Another album I've been listening to lately is Surrounded by Silence, by Prefuse 73. It features a lot of different artists and...well, it's fantastic. You'll have a guaranteed good time listening to this album if you're like me at all. The only downside is that if you look it up on Grooveshark only a partial album shows up. You have to search Prefuse 73 by album title in order to find all the different tracks. Even then there where still songs missing. Or you could buy it. Or something.

Lovingly,

One

P.S. let me know if you like those

Alright, I'm about to share with you all what I think is some of the best rap/hip hop music that I have ever heard in my life (so far), and that I was so lucky enough to find in some random and obscure nook and cranny of the internet...

It's a rapper named Dex and a DJ named Deader, and their name is Atlas, and you can download their album for free here.

Seriously, if you like rap/hip hop and DMT, then you will be glad you checked this out... Let me know what you guys think.

I can't listen to music that doesn't pack a spiritual punch and make me feel like I'm learning something, as a result I've collected quite a few artists who really hook up a message. I'd love to share if anyone's interested. Here's a taste of what I'm talking about.
