Can I mix caapi and rue in a ayahuasca mixture?

Right now I'm brewing 50 g caapi and 5 g of chaliponga, and I'm not quite sure 50 g will be enough because I want a moderately strong trip. I have access to plentiful syrian rue, and I was thinking of ingesting 2 grams 20 minutes before sipping the chaliponga/caapi mix. Would this have any implications?
