so I just acquired some really nice Acacia bark and all the supplies needed but my wife told me that if I have to produce it that she doesn't ever want to see it. So out of respect of her I would like to make that possible. So I am wondering if during the acid cook could you just put the bark on the stove in 1 hour intervals because that is all the time I have when I get home from work. So I mean like 1 hour on Monday, 1 hour on Tuesday, 2 hours on Wednesday and 1 hour on Thursday. Does anybody know if this could work?

Maybe assure her about your intentions with the substance, take away some of the mystery for her?
If she isn't comfortable with it, you wouldn't be able to use it at home, correct? I would find it hard to explore hyperspace knowing my wife hated it, or had a complete misunderstanding.

Putting the acid boils in the oven probably wouldn't be the best idea, they could easily overheat and destroy the actives.
I agree that you should discuss this with your wife further, and perhaps try to share your own views on the subject more thoroughly. Try to understand her perspective on it, and try to present your perspective in a way that she can understand it. To the outsider, I could see how the extraction process could be seen in a negative light. Better to talk about it further than to be doing something in the house that she doesn't agree with.
That being said, your best bet would probably be to wait until you have a full day when she won't be at the house. Breaking an extraction up into short increments and spreading it out over the course of several days or weeks can cause some problems, IME. No need to rush these things, especially if you already have all the required materials.

I'm not familiar with Acacia yet, so I won't comment on that aspect of your post.
I wouldn't attempt an extraction behind my wife's back. I have a feeling that even if you do a successful extraction, your experiences from the resulting product would be throbbing with paranoia, guilt and you might get your ass whooped in hyperspace. Who knows, maybe it's just me. I couldn't do it.
Can you show her some documentaries? Pick some good McKenna (or whoever you like) lectures and let her hear those. Help her to understand the reason you want to do what you are doing. If she is truly and completely opposed and unmovable on the subject, and this is a path you KNOW you REALLY have to take, you have some serious thinking to do in order to find a good solution. Otherwise you might want to look in another direction.

thanks for all the comments but I have actually done a lot of extraction behind her back and have grown a mighty amount of mushrooms with her not knowing. I have not gotten a bad trip related to doing it behind her back. I feel like im in high school hiding from my parents when I do it. But just recently she found out that I am in her own words a (shroom head and addicted to dmt) I've honestly tried to explain but the more I dive into the experience the crazier I sound to her. Like many others she has been told her entire life that all mind altering substances are bad except occasionally having one to many drinks. I mean honestly I kind of gave up on trying to convince her. Im at a lost for words when I try to defend the psychedelic experience. Personally I think the experience is for everyone and is needed but I don't know how to bring that out of a person so they realize it. I guess I haven't given up yet. Any suggestions on how to win stubborn people over?

I do not intend to lose my relationship over extracting, I just thought if she didn't know then no harm was done. As for the mistakes I have made in the past(smoking synthetic) I have learned and moved on from them. I am happy at where I am now and I wouldn't be there without my mistakes of the past. So my wife and entheogenerator can have there concerns but my past is a huge part of my future. And hopefully I will not be judged on where I was before but where I am now

As my quote from the attitude page clearly stated, it is typically better to wait until you have a solid and safe place to perform an extraction than to add the risk of trying to hide it from someone who lives in the house. There is no reason to rush these things. Even if it's 5-10 years from now, DMT will still be around.
Yea I understand that waiting will be better. I just wanted to have some fresh spice because I am going on vacation to the gulf of Mexico and we will be staying on a private beach So I wanted to wake up early and vape some spice while the sun came up! haha But I do have some older spice I made around 10 months ago and will just bring that instead. Should still be awesome
