Yes Tat! Exactly. We are definitely speaking of the same thing. It's really like that - they get involuntarily attracted/pulled in and suddenly we're having an experience beyond the mundane - right there in the grocery store. The connection is so alive. It's amazing.

I never fully sustain it, but I do think that each time I experience it I'm able to carry a little bit more of it along with me as the state becomes more and more familiar - as I learn to believe more and more in the ability to be that way by default; to let go of my 'stuff' that I've been carrying around and developing for so long.

Though it's still a rollercoaster and there are plenty of phases where it seems to all fade away as I slouch through a rough patch. Waves and phases, as with most things in my experience.

Since then, i literally raised my thinking up and out of the rut it had uncomfortably grooving in for some time, putting into action positive steps to increase my... well, everything. And it's working. There is some kind of funk in my walk and a gleam in my one good eye that seems to be attracting females in a way that i haven't in a long time. And it's cool, I'm enjoying this, and pushing at the boundaries of this new consciousness, stretching it carefully to see what it can include.

I can definitely relate. I've come to learn that often the reality that we live in our internal minds has a lot more influence on the physical world than we may realize. Although not always the case (it can't be forced), it almost seems as though reality conspires to bring us what we need at the time. I suppose this would just be the "law of attraction", and as flimsy as the concept may sometimes be, I've found there to be a fairly convincing amount of legitimacy to it.
Reality seems to act as a mirror (IME over the past few years), and the vibes/energies/whatever you put out seem to reflect back. Convince yourself that something is 100% possible and conceivable, and with some effort, often it will bring itself to fruition.

If you are following your authenticity/passion and pushing to love yourself, reality seems to produce the appropriate things/people to compliment that. Reality itself seems to operate in a similar way to nature, leaning towards a system of most effective/least energy spent. You just have to meet it halfway, and it takes care of the rest.

I think psychedelics have helped me notice this system a little more clearly, and having that knowledge helps me navigate my experiences with a little more confidence.

Really, something you should understand is that most males have incredible difficulty relating the way they feel into words, especially spoken ones. When a guy says 'she's hot', it may mean she has a classic Monroe proportion of hips and breasts, or, it could mean ' she's really smart and funny and strong.'

I'm a guy, and a pretty superficial one at that, but really, it's more about YOU, than it is about ME, where attraction is concerned.

I can't empathize with you being a young woman in this fucked up game of sexual chess, but it's a pretty universal constant among humans, self love begets admiration, while self loathing begets abuse.

The more I began using psychedelics, the more my interest in women waned. The funny thing is yes, I then noticed them noticing me more often and being much more flirtatious. It could be a combination of factors but I think that inevitably yes, you will seem more attractive in a sexual sense. Primarily with tryptamines it seems, at least IME.

Like RAM I really began to see the whole idea of 'courting' to be ridiculous. I've always questioned a lot of these social rules/roles even before I became interested in psychedelics. But yes, the use of them has made me question it even further and I think I've come to see things for what they are and not take things at face value.

I've experienced what Tatt and others are talking about from both sides of the equation, so I can say that there really is something going on there. After taking mushroom trips my friends and I would go out for breakfast and there was always one or two of those moments. I remember one instance in particular where I was out with my girlfriend and didn't go with my buddies to trip on shrooms. In the morning I called one of them up and went over to his house. We sat in his room with the lights off, the TV on but muted, and he told me about his trip and what happened. I began to experience a strange sort of 'contact' high, almost like a mild tryptamine buzz. His story was very engaging and there were some emotional parts; it really swept me away. After he was done we went outside and smoked a couple cigarettes and talked some more. That feeling lingered for hours while I was with him, just talking and hanging out.

LSDvibes, I agree with what null is saying. Guys are incredibly bad at languaging their feelings most of the time :lol: Not all of us are so superficial. This may be a generalization but I find the guys that seem the most superficial; taking an hour to do their hair, lots of cologne and flashy jewelry/cars - those are the ones that will only date the girls who are the same...incredibly superficial with the pound of cosmetics and the (more oft than not) gold-digger personality. Okay, may be a generalization might be an understatement :lol:

Some men (usually with age; men mature slower than women generally) come to value substance over form. I count myself one of them. But in high school my friends used to jokingly call me an old man; I always had those gentlemanly manners. My friend bought me a cardigan with patches on the elbows and a wood pipe for my sixteenth birthday :lol: None of this is to say that they're not out there. I have known a lot of guys that really didn't care too much about what their girl looked like, if only she knew how to cook. That was most important over all :lol: I worked with a guy in a restaurant and he dated this 300lbs. Jamaican girl just for her jerk chicken :lol:

I don't know if any of that helped. That part about us not languaging very well...yeah. :lol:

These posts makes me cringe. Why does spirituality exclude hotness? What is hotness anyway? Is it confused with tackiness? And who says you are ugly?

Is it the standard "ugliness", like overweight, acne, bad hair, poor taste in clothes etc.? Because if it is, there's an easy fix for it: sports, skin doctor, hairdresser, friend with good clothing taste etc.. I mean, _YOU_ should look in the mirror and say: hey, _I_ look beautiful. That's the only criteria for beauty imo. The personal self-image, not an external source.

And yes, psychedelics can help with that. They can help you realize, that _YOU_ are in charge of your beauty - and once you define (!) yourself beautiful, I'm sure the guys will notice it, too.

I chose not to tell anyone about the very low dose of cubensis I had consumed just prior to arriving.

I've had random girls walk up to me, heavily flirt with me, ask me questions, touch me, smile at me - Thanks to mushrooms. On low dose cactus i once smiled at a girl and the look on her face was like "What? ME?" As if i was a rockstar who had just choosen her to accompany me to my hotel suite.

So all in all, i would answer with a big YES. At least while you are on them. But of course, aftereffects can also be helpful.

If you get close enough to someone, they do not "look" at all, or they look very strange. Now an eye, now a part of flesh. They can smell and taste and feel good up close. But appearances?

I've always felt that emphasis on "looks" or appearance is a measure of the distance we have from each other. Smell on the other hand. Or touch. Or feel.

I've been wondering lately about how psychedelics (primarily DMT) alter your personality, and if these experiences have made you more attractive to the opposite sex. Of course, it depends on who you are fundamentally, and the people you're trying to attract into your life, but do you think it has any significant impact?

I've come to notice that we tend to attract the same type of energies that we externalize on a day to day basis. Although psychedelics have made me somewhat more reclusive and introspective, I've noticed that I've gained somewhat of an attractive essence when it comes to particular women. I think it's the more conscious, deeply-thinking aspect of my personality that's been accentuated through my psychedelic practice that women find more intriguing. Perhaps knowing and exploring the "other side" has tweaked my baseline perspective to one with less dissonance, therefore attracting complimentary attention? Who knows

A bit of a random thought, but I'm interested to hear some other people's experiences and thoughts on the subject. How have psychedelics affected your love life?

Funny you ask this question because its some thing I've thought about but felt like an idiot talking about it.
Years ago when my friend and I started vaping we noticed females paying us a lot more interest.
Now im good looking anyway so I always get some kind of interest and my friend is a bit of a fool, he thinks that every women wants him haha he's always been like that.
But since we started smoking spice we both noticed women throwing themselves at us in an out of the ordinary way.
Firstly we came to the conclusion that our awareness had changed ,so previously we just didn't notice so much.
Then later on we came to the conclusion that DMT could effect our pheromones , so women would just want a piece without even knowing why.
But I once was in a glass lift and the receptionist was on me before the lift arrived at the floor , so unless my pheromones took the lift before me that didn't seem to be the answer.
We also came to a conclusion concerning energies, as in DMT had changed out output so to speak.
This is some thing I didn't quite believe in but now a few years on an much Changa later I think it could be a real possibility.
I'm surprised this hasn't happened to or been picked up by more people ..

I'm sorry we made you cringe. I did not mean to say that "hotness" and spirituality are mutually exclusive qualities, as they are definitely not. I am just saying that before psychedelic use, the focus was solely on girls I found physically attractive with little other consideration, so they could have been spiritual or non-spiritual or whatever. Now I am more attracted to spiritual, happy girls, with looks being nothing more than another simple factor in my decision-making equation.

"Hey RAM you dirty dog, your standards went down because you've been eating that acid again!" Hardly! My "standards" are just different. But maybe I am trying to move away from the idea of standards altogether.

If you have reasons to love someone, you don’t love them.

I think removing my ego from the equation entirely now and just letting my true self guide me to whom I think is a good fit for someone like me is a better strategy. Maybe this is a better way to put it than "seeking a spiritual" girl.

And let's not even get started on Tinder because that would be a crazy topic here...
