Can Purple PVC Pipe Cleaner be used for MEK?

I saw someone post about this. I am refering to the PVC Purple Pipe Cleaner which contains MEK that is commonly available in most hardware stores, I can't find regular MEK so far.
I am nervous that the dye it contains could make me "die" if you know what I mean.
Stupid question, but I would feel even stupider if I did not ask.

Maybe I can help a little. If I am wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me.
I wouldn't use anything but the cleanest of MEK since that is what I would be trying to do, clean it of impurities. Maybe someone knows of a way to purify the purple MEK, but beats me. Actually throwing it in the freezer might do just that.

My local wallies world has mek, labeled methyl ethyl ketone, right next to the *leanstrip acetone. It's unbelievable 2 "precursors" on the same aisle. I wonder how many video cameras are watching that paint aisle.

Lol... Wouldn't be suprised if they had someone watching that aisle all the time. As for the purple stuff, stay away from that shit. It most likely has all sorts of nasty shit inthere with the mek. Swim gets his stuff from Ace, then dries it with anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and distills it. Comes out extremely pure.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know. I saw Mr. Kush use "Pink" MEK in a tek- but better safe than sorry.
