Can someone please tell me if syrian rue can be used in a herbal percolator?

I don't have caapi, but was going to prepare some soon, but I'd like to know if syrian rue will work.
I've been trying to find the answer for quite a while, but couldnt.
Thanks.

yes it will work and make a brew that can be *urk* chugged down but there is a LOT, A LOT of other stuff in syrian rue besides just harmalas and many of them are toxins that can make you feel terrible. I've drank the brew before and it wasn't terrible until I had a meal. After that I had a pounding headache. Never got that with pure harmalas.

So short answer, yes.

Would more of these toxins be present than if brewed normally?

you would probably have less toxins if THP are used.

Boiling agitates the seeds and dissolves a lot more (often junk)

Though SWIM doesn't boil any of his "brews" anymore but rather steeps them like tea. Then reduces them once all the herbs/seeds are removed if needed.

Ahh. Alright then, thanks.
