Chaliponga Issues

I have a friend extracting chaliponga in his basement. My friend simmered 150mg chali in an acidic solution for one hour and transfered the result to 4 separate mason jars NOT discarding the leaf. Next my friend defatted 8 times with naphtha then added lye. The solution turned black very much looking the way MHRB would. Anyway my friend then began to attempt extracting, pulling and evaporating by a fan. He was disappointed when all he was left with was a little bit of light green residue on pyrex. So my friend added a bit more lye and tried a second extraction this time placing the solvent in the freezer for 12+ hours. He then evaporated the rest under the fan and again was left with absolutely nothing. My questions for him are the obvious ones; is there something he can do to get results? @nything he did wrong? Was the leaf perhaps bunk? Any feedback would be very very appreciated. Thanks

Well, 150mg of chali is not going to have much yield for starters.

^Agreed. Consider the percentages of available stuff within your 150mg of chaliponga, and the chances that you get it all out. Perhaps one could start with a lot more, and hope for the best.
