changa and other misc questions

Migrated topic.
I heard a voice coming out of my heating duct last night. This is what it said:
"Use acetone if you want fast complete evaporation. Just enough to dissolve the spice. Try making a 1:1 with 500mg spice and 500mg caapi leaf. Let it evap until you can smell NO SOLVENT at all. Put some in your smoking device. No need to measure, but if you must, start with 100mg of the changa (which would be 50mg spice/50mg leaf) Smoke until you get to where you want to be. Barely lick the leaf with the flame, pull slowly. Hold it in, let it out, see what happens. I find that if I smoke too little on my first hit, I get dysphoria and anxiety. Another hit seems to cure this problem for me.

I've been using a regular old pipe."

That's what I heard.

Read around, I assure you that every possible facet of the GVG vs. VG vs. Anything Else debate has been written and rewritten on this forum. Well, regardless, the GVG is the best. You may not want to invest in it before you know that you really love the molecule, but it's the best. With changa, though, you can get away with a bong for now...

When that thread was referring to a batch of changa, that 1g batch was meant to contain however many doses, not just a single one. Making one dose at a time would be a pain in the butt, number one, and secondly, I highly doubt that the meagre 30mg DMT worth' of changa you may make will be anywhere near enough to satisfy your curiosity the first time; chances are you'll smoke more than that trying to get your technique straight.

And the reason that a 1:1 ratio by weight is preferable is because if you have too much caapi leaf, it can become difficult to get it all in quickly enough for a strong experience. Weigh it out!

The GVG is an amazing device. Sure its not absolutely necessary. However, if you are able to lay out the money for one you will have made a great investment!

Take it one step at a time and try it with a bong first. If you like that you'll love the GVG!
