Changa ingredients Australia???

dazultra

Esteemed member
Hi Folks,
Can any Aussies advise me on Changa ingredients that can be purchased in this country?
I've had a look here Sacred Plants Australia | Seeds, Medicinal Mushrooms, Traditional Medicines, Exotic Fruit, Incense Resins, Shamanic Tools, Healing Ceremony
And found Syrian Rue seeds and Sacred Lotus Seeds
I can't find Caapi in Australia.

Would a mix of the above ingredients work?
Am I correct in thinking a 1:1 mix will work, and I infuse the seeds with spice in rubbing alcohol and let it evaporate for a few days?
How long does a Changa trip last compared to using straight DMT?

Thanks!

hi dazultra,

you don't need special plants, you can use mint or any smoalkable leaf.
for the syrian rue seeds, soaking in alcohol might work but it is preferable to have the alkaloids in freebase form via extraction.

Please bear in mind the following rule:

No discussion on selling, buying, sourcing, acquiring, pricing, trading, receiving, distributing, mentioning pending deliveries or smuggling of drugs

This includes all isolated psychedelic compounds and RCs (Research Chemicals), whether they are legal or not. The only goods allowed to be discussed are legal live plants, legal viable seeds (both in the Sustainable plant and seed suppliers subforum) and legal/unwatched chemical supplies. See Street Value of DMT (AND WHY YOU SHOULDN'T EVER SELL DMT AND OTHER PSYCHEDELICS) for good reasons why we don't allow this.

Also please read this thread: Bye bye MHRB sourcing talk, we will remember you
In that sense, it is not permitted to discuss the availability of caapi (other than live plants, of course). IIRC, Australia prohibits harmala alkaloids, so you might want to check the appropriate laws to see if B. caapi is also listed. P. harmala has such a ubiquitous use among middle eastern communities that it apparently manages to slip through the net to a large extent.

Don't try smoking lotus seeds. It's the lotus flowers that are used. Lotus seeds are sometimes used as a foodstuff, bit you might want to try growing them. It would be very rewarding to have your own, home-grown lotus flowers.

This is a good thread giving information about the character different herbs bring to the blend.
Don't worry about your creation being 'changa'. It is going to blow your mind anyway.
Browse an Aussie dried herb supplier like this one Shop Over 160 Dried Herbs & Teas Online - Bulk Available but do get organic.
Buy a few you like and make your blend. Get some passion flower for MAOI as you don't have caapi, or go without. Does it really matter, when you're only starting out?
Damiana, camomile, gotu kola and passion flower could be an interesting place to start, but that's just what I've been thinking.
