How would one go about cleaning or crystallizing resin from a bridgesii tea/boil (boiled with splash of lemon - making it mescaline citrate?). Would it be worth loosing bridgesii's full spectrum effects for a cleaner journey?
Put the tea in a crock pot that has a low setting. A ceramic surface crock pot works. Set up a small fan to blow over the top of the crock pot. At first it'll seem like it's not working fast enough, but check it often enough so that you know when it's gotten down to a thick, syrupy consistency. If you let it dry and harden completely it'll be tough, if not impossible to scrape the resin from the surface. When it gets to the tarlike stage scrape the resin from the surface with a utility razor and then let the thick curli-ques of resin dry the rest of the way.
Grind it into a powder with a mortar and pestle and store in the freezer. I hear tell of resin rehardening to an almost glasslike state. I suspect that would be hard to use. I've wondered if mixing it with some sort of anti-caking agent like Mannitol might work to prevent that. Not sure.
My apologies, I should of clarified - is it possible to take the final resulting resin powder and purify it further? My understanding is that the resin is a full spectrum extract and cleaning further would eliminate some of the associated nausea.
