Cleaner extract?

I used the tek where you first powder then add naphtha and evap. Then I used 100 proof alc, highest I could find, and did 2 pulls. I used two coffee filters together to filter out the smaller particles. Then evapped, all the liquid is not gone yet, it started as yellow but now is brown and cloudy, not clear. When I swish it around in the pan there is some yellow smudge settled on the bottom. I'm wondering if the brown cloudiness means I didn't filter out enough plant matter? I want to take a fairly large dose so should I scrape all the residue once fully evapped and encapsulate it and will it be fine? Or should I dissolve it in more alc then filter again? Is there anything I can do to get a more clean extract?

Im assuming you used HBWR seeds?

Alcohol extracts a lot of gunk besides the LSA from seeds no matter how much it is filtered. After evaporation the result is a light brown powder. This can be removed by redissolving the residue in mildly acidic water and then filtered because the brown powder doesnt redissolve. You may be able to redissolve the extract in alcohol again and then filter out the powder impurities, but they might redissolve in the alcohol, not sure.

Of course you can always go the route of an A/B procedure if you really want clean product.
