I have searched and read and now am more unsure than I was before. If someone had 1g of crystals for example, what would be the best ways of getting out impurities if he may have it contaminated with a little of the base, or anything else? I’ve read mini a/b extraction, but can’t find a tek that explains it for such a small amount. What in the best route to take with minimal loss of spice? Link?

Mini A/B is exactly what it says it is. With 1g of DMT, it's effectively the same as performing an A/B on 100g of bark with starting with a relatively (very) clean acidic tea.
Get your molar ratios right and it should be a cinch. Simple arithmetic will be your friend here, that way you can avoid adding an excess of acid, base, and solvent at their respective times.
