Mhrb extraction accidentally let all of the naptha dry out

I did an extraction of 100g MHRB that I finely powdered in a Vitamix. I followed the DpTek.

Combined the powder with 250 ml 5% white vinegar and freeze thawed 3 times.

In a 2L glass bottle I added 110g NaOH to 1000 ml water then added 180g NaCl kosher salt.

I mixed in the acidified root bark sludge and topped off to 1800 ml mark with water.

Mixed and let the soup cool to 20*C

I did two 150 ml pulls with naptha.

I had planned to fan the pulls until the solution was saturated and then freeze precipitate. Unfortunately I let it go too long over night and came back to a mostly crystalized plate with some goo. I thought about adding more naptha and heating it to redissolve, but I don't have an electric heat source so I wasn't going to did that over a flame. So I let it continue to dry with a fan. There was one last small slightly gooey spot.

I probably should have let that dry a bit more, but I excitedly scraped the plate because I wanted to see what my yield was and had planned on trying to recrystallized.

Yield was 1.816 g powder.
Now I'm letting that powder sit on the pie plate with a fan going over it hoping it will dry out any residual naptha.

I need to get a Crock-Pot for a water bath.

Should I do a recrystallization to clean it up or just give it another 12 hours to dry more? Pictures look a bit more yellow than the product actually looks like in person.

You don't need to recrystallize unless you want to for aesthetic purposes. What you got is a bit waxy but that shouldn't be a problem.

As for drying it more, does it still smell like naphtha? I would leave it for a few hours after it doesn't smell anymore, and it should be good.
