cleaning shrooms?

hey all shroom season is here in melbourne! just picked a bunch of psilocybe subaeruginosa yesterday... I would like to clean them up as they have quite a bit of dirt on them.. just wondering how you guys go about doing this? last year i wiped them with a damp tissue but wondering if other people have any more efficient methods?

Rinse them in a strainer. Your not going to hurt them and your def. not going to wash away the goods. =)

my experience is limited to amanitas (though i imagine it is a similar process), but i try to get as much off while dry as possible (with a brush or paper towel/tp) followed by a quick, cold rinse (if necessary), then drying immediately.

Don't even bother cleaning them.....dry them and then powder them and make a tea out of it....then strain the tea
