Clogged ear

Hello community,
Recently I had smoked some spirit. However this time was different, my right ear felt clogged as if it was shutting down after the first hit. I could still hear when that was happening. That never happened before but it felt odd is that normal? When I’m back it goes away and all of this happened without a breakthrough.

I just took a hit but it didn’t happen this time no clogged ear feeling. I chickened out like shit to even take the second hit. I said “I said no I can’t do it” waited 15min to do it again but I chickened out again. Just holding in the smoke for 30sec feels like I’m suffocating.but man I just got how much I need fb dose. I been putting 30mg in the machine was just getting mild oev but 50mg one hit was pulling my guts as if it was ready shoot up. But I wasted a blast off. I went in the ritual tired and confused.

Have you figured out the technique?=) And clogged ears is a thing that sometimes happens in the psychedelic state; on mushrooms there can be a minute where it becomes really strong, but I've even had that clogged ear feeling even after a really good joint (having smoked dmt the day prior.)

I think its the heart skipping a beat (or something like that) which is a natural part of consuming something that effects the central nervous system. So the vein on the neck sends the signal of the irregular heart beat and the ear makes a THUMP sounding vibration. But it can happen once every 3 seconds if its strong.

Was it the ear on the side that you inhale/angle the pipe towards?
ive noticed when i mess up and burn the product apart from a harsh taste my lips where the pipe rests and comes in contact with the burnt smoke would go numb/pins and needles
Im thinking if the burnt smoke was directed and hit that area at the back of your mouth level with where your ear connects (eustian tube?) it may have numbed your ear for a short while!
